Very affordable. Certainly good value for what you get.Walls very very thin though. Could hear everything going on in the next room. Every word spoken. Plus had to bang on the wall and call “quiet” when the kids next door were seemingly bouncing off the walls.Plus, when the people in the room next door wanted a smoke, the nearest ash tray for them was outside our window. Not ideal.One last thing. The last few guests had left their little complementary soaps in the shower up top. A little gross having to throw out four of them!All said, though, it’s good basic accommodation. And the decent price makes up for any downsides. Man at reception was friendly and helpful.

Clean and that's about it. The floor was extremely bumpy but that just added to the quirkiness. Remember that dinner is unavailable on Sunday but Chengs Chinese downtime is perfectly adequate for takeaway, eat in is not available because of the dammed virus .

Lovely Motel. Excellent pricing beds and pillows are really comfortable. Owner is friendly and cooks a mean meal very very nice.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and neat. Hardly anyone around, so it was quiet.Being a Sunday, everything was closed in Hughenden, even the Chinese restaurant. But, the local petrol service station had cooked meals in take-away containers and we had a few snacks, so we made do. When you're out this way, come prepared for no food or drink places to be open. And plenty of water.

Charging redicolous prices for sleeping in a vehicle charging someone in a caravan only 100 per week and charging me 154 for sleeping in a car also wouldn’t give us a room because we have a small jack Russell but people have been seen walking into the rooms with poodles and cats descrimination at its finest not to mention turning off the power to my vehicle and to the ammenities so there’s no hot water or washing facilities

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. David ( owner) was really nice and helpful I would definitely go back.

Rooms are not clean, and full of insects and beetles. Paper thin walls between neighbouring rooms, so you can hear every word your neighbours say. Front door could not be locked properly, so lacked in security. Not worth the price, which is fairly steep. Would not recommend.

Stayed a few nights ago in caravan park. Amenities are not very clean need a good hose out. The washing machine was in the ladies toilet and I did a load of washing which came out dirtier than it went in. I had to res wash but not in that machine. Absolutely no covid happening, but I no soap & a cloth hand towel. The motel is also used for workers so if they want to use the machine they have to go into the ladies toilet. Not Good for them or us. For $30.00 a night absolutely outrageous.Sandy

This is a great country motel, in-house food was plentiful and delicious, rooms are a little dated but that ads to the charm.We were very pleased with our stay and would gladly stay there again.

The rooms, which are basic but have all the necessities, are clean and serviced every day. The owner is friendly and welcoming; offering hearty home cooked meals which are worthy of your attention. The WI-FI is fast and it continues to work during peak usage periods; enough to stream a movie or make a video call. The cleaner will turn your air conditioner on so upon your return the room will be at a comfortable temperature. The list goes on...Basically, he puts effort into running a decent motel, and it shows. All in all, I highly recommend staying here. I’ve yet to find somewhere that can top the consistency of this place.
