Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat

This place has been masterfully rebuilt after the bushfires, and the standard now of the cabins and facilities is definitely in the higher end hotel segment. The main actor here that blows everything else out of the water is the nature and the views here. Super spacious and vast. I can only imagine what a starry night would look like here. Most likely enjoyed around the special fire pit place. Amazing! I hope I get to come back someday.

Absolutely stunning, can't fault it.Had our wedding here and loved it from first time we saw it. It was even more impressive on the day.An amazing location that wowed all our guest. Onsite accommodation was perfect with modern, clean and private facilities for all our guests.All the staff we dealt with from site inspection, to booking, planning and during our stay were so attentive and helpful.Can't recommend highly enough

Beautiful escape from Sydney city. The cabins are quant and beautiful decorated. Not very sound proof. Stunning surrounding views and peaceful at dawn and dusk. The Rock Cathedral is beautiful and the staff was very accommodating with the rain, placing tarps on the benches and provided umbrellas.

Just stunning!!We were here for my sisters wedding. The rooms are beautiful, plenty of space and each had their own bathroom and privacy. The beds were big and comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom was big and spacious. The venue itself is truly amazing. The grounds and property are all very very well taken care of by the lovely staff. The kitchen, BBQ, fire pit areas are all also very spacious and well kept. The reception room is large to fit a big amount of people, easy to set up and all looked beautiful. The bridal suit is gorgeous, a really really beautiful space to get ready. The grooms den was also perfect for the boys!Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible which is fantastic.The ceremony venue at the rock cathedral is just a small walk from the rooms & bridal suite, easy to get to and just stunning.Couldn’t fault this place at all.

We celebrated our wedding across the most amazing weekend from 6-8 April 2018. The Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat is the most understated, stunning venue, with so many hidden surprises that made our weekend so unbelievable. Andrew, the relief manager at the venue looked after us all weekend and was so helpful, making it so easy to feel relaxed all weekend.Our ceremony in the Rock Cathedral was so beautiful and was immediately followed by one of the highlights on the day, drinks and canapés on the gorgeous Sunset Deck. Our reception was so much fun and ran so smoothly, that the entire night felt like the best party of our lives.We would highly recommend the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat to anyone else - we had the most laid back and enjoyable wedding weekend and so wish we could do it all again!Lucy & Jack (April 2018).

The venue was well decorated and the scenery was luscious. Would recommend this as a wedding venue to others.

NOTHING SHORT OF PERFECT! If you’re wondering where to have your wedding or event we can’t recommend KVBR enough. The venue itself is out of this world! We held our wedding ceremony in the rock cathedral and had canapés on the sunset deck before moving to the function area for our reception. If you do a simple search you’ll see a range of amazing photos of the venue however while the photos turn out purely perfect you can’t fully comprehend the level of perfection until you see this venue in person! Being from Adelaide and travelling to Kangaroo Valley for our wedding along with 99% of our guests we loved that we were all able to stay onsite for a three day wedding celebration. We loved being able to enjoy an evening with everyone prior to our big day as well as the morning after our wedding day to reflect on the celebrations. This meant our guests all and met and knew each other by the time our wedding day arrived and avoided any awkwardness between guests throughout the wedding day! The accommodation was beautiful and very modern and comfortable! Lizzy, Jenn and The managers were nothing short of fantastic! Very informative and helpful throughout the whole booking process and wedding celebrations. We honestly can’t fault our time at KVBR and hope one day to visit again! As a wedding photographer I see a lot of beautiful venues and Kangaroo Valley bush retreat is one of the absolute best. I cannot wait to photograph here again once they've got up and running after the fires ripped through sadly.
