La La Falls
Quick little hike to a waterfall that is quite small! Still beautiful and plenty of dogs!

It's all uphill. To get from the car park to the falls it's a 1.5km uphill trek with a bench about 2/3 of the way up if you need to catch your breath, and one at the top to take in the falls. Watch out for the pretty stone bridges on the way up, and right in front of the falls. It's also a 1.5km downhill trek back to the car park which is a bonus

Beautiful falls. 1.5 hour round trip from the car park. The walk is steep but very doable with stops. The falls are beautiful with a sitting area and bridge. The best part is the glorious walk there and back. Worth the climb.

Walk was nice - quite a few people which made it quite crowded at times, particularly at the falls. Best to go early in the day when it’s a bit quieter. Car park also fills up quite quickly in the afternoon.A nice place to take the dog and there were quite a few other pups on the way for socialisation. Track can be quite muddy during the winter so your dog will generally come back plastered in mud!

January 2023: This was my first visit to La La Falls, Warburton, but hopefully not the last. We went first thing on a hot summer’s Saturday morning but it was still cool under the trees. It is quite steep and challenging a walk in parts. The advice at the entrance to allow 1.5 hours was accurate for us. There are a few bench seats along the way. The falls are very pretty. One thing to note is that there are no toilets at the park. The nearest public toilets are within the Warburton township, which is a few minutes’ drive away. After walking to the falls and back, the short drive into town offers a range of cafés and take away food options, plus picnic tables along the riverbank. The trail became rather busy as we headed back downhill so if, like me, you want a more introverted experience, visiting earlier in the morning seems to be the best option.Edit, February 2023: I did return to the waterfalls a few weeks after my initial visit, on a day of heavy summer rain. The waterfall itself was, unsurprisingly, much heavier and more intense in the wet weather. It was a soggy walk but very quiet, with hardly anyone else around.

Amazing walk. Sign does say “short steep hills” but the whole walk was uphill with stairs. But otherwise beautiful!

Easy hike up. Roughly 35mins one way with a slow walk. The waterfall however is not intended to swim in. Standing on a bridge to admire it. Rather small waterfall too.

A moderate hiking between 1 to 2 hours. Clean and humid air. The falls is not big but still nice.

The hiking trail is amazing, surrounded by forest and oxygen levels are 100%3.2km distance and will take you around 1 - 1.5h, altitude changes will be around 700m in total
