Bay of Shoals Wines
This is the first KI winery I visited over 10 years ago and I still enjoy coming back as often as possible. The wines are good and reasonably priced and the views from the cellar door are lovely. It also is within walking distance of the Bay of Shoals anchorage and boat ramp if you're coming by boat!

I came into this place with no (or even low) expectations, but found it to be quite a pleasant experience with surprisingly good wines, to boot. In particular we enjoyed the 2019 Riesling (crisp, citrusy, floral), the Pinot Noir (light body, cherry and spice), the Cabernet Merlot, and the Cab Sauv. Nice views and atmosphere, too. Prices reasonable. We bought a couple bottles... drinking the Riesling right now on my porch in Vivonne Bay!

What a delightful way to cap our afternoon off. Stopped in and did a tasting and was able to try quite the spread of their award winning wines. Phenomenal views over the water and cheery staff what else can you ask for!

Dan, Phil & Lee-Anne from Expression In Colour Painters visited Bay Of Shoals Wines Kangaroo Island today to collect a wine barrel, we’d like to thank Sarah for her lovely friendly service & for showing us around. What a lovely winery to bring friends & family, friendly helpful staff, beautiful view, baby ducklings wondering around. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Today we had a lovely wine tasting experience at Bay Of Shoals Wines. Nina was delightful and very helpful. We had four wines each to taste in their beautiful garden. We purchased 6 and were given two more bottles for free!! The winery is in the most beautiful spot with wonderful views! Really worth a visit if you’re on KI!!

Nina was so kind, joyful, informative and made the most gorgeous and delicious smoked seafood platter. She even accommodated my gluten allergy. Can not say enough about this winery! The sparkling Shiraz was a favorite! Thank you Nina for making our Monday in Kangaroo Island so spectacular.

The venue was lovely, tasting price was reasonable I thought. Service was friendly but not too much required as they give you a tasting sheet to read off while tasting. Wines were all ok but nothing amazing. All of the white wines tasted very similar. Worth a visit
