after i beg the whole year ton provide me am electricity bill, this crooks billed me $1450 that is with 6.6KW solar feed-ins. contacted back to them and i was told not to pay bill because it is estimated and wait until final accurate bill. after 2 months, i am getting overdue charges added to the same bill and wants me to pay as soon as possible to avoid Credit Score impact. leaving this provider and making sure none of my friend or people i know gets anything from Alinta energy in life.

We have received an advance notice, two weeks before changes, that our electricty is going up 50%! No kidding. 50% from $0.36 per kwh to $0.54 per kwh

We are a new customer that supposed to get a connection today. Customer service was terrible! I called at 2.10pm today and inquired about the time we would get connection and we were told that IT WAS ALREADY CONNECTED. after 30 minutes I received a message saying there was a problem, called them and they said that they could not access the meters, when in fact my partner took a time off work to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible and was home the whole entire time waiting for them and all our other deliveries.The lack of customer service is very frustrating, save your money and time.Go to a better energy company elsewhere because Alinta energy is not going to give you the best service as they promised.

Aside from Aust Post this company is easily the most incompetent in the country. They cannot even issue me with a final account due to 'IT' issues. Won't be returning as a client.

Just had a call regarding swapping to Alina and was promised a .44c plus another .08c for my solar feed in, sounded to good to be true. Checked the reviews and am so glad I did. It appears I have been saved a lot of pain so thank you to the good people who provide honest feedback.

Absolutely horrible, would recommend people avoid Alinta at all costs. Long back story as to how their stuff up has impacted me. But I requested to speak to a manager on 18th November and was promised a manager would call me back. 1st December I called again and asked why I hadn't had a call from a manager, was told they've been too busy but manager will call me back. It's now December 9th - 15 business days since I lodged a complaint and I AM STILL WAITING TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER. Customer service is NON EXISTANT!!!! They don't rate anywhere near the top on pricing, and their customer service is LAUGHABLE.

Beware of Alinta. We signed with them but our previous supplier offered us a better deal to stay. When Alinta sent the bill for the short period we were with them they guesstimated we had used 26.5kwh per day when their own info said that two people usually use 12.9kwh. Complained to Alinta. They refused to reissue the bill at the correct rate just gave us $10 off. They claimed someone else had made the clearly dodgy estimate. The result was we paid Alinta for over 200% of the electricity they provided. Like i said BEWARE

Omg!!!I have sent them an email to enquire about the connection of electricity supply. When I don’t get the response I preferred to call them directly and I had conversation as well on useless things then when I raised the same question bout the connection, was asked to send them mail. Is this a joke ?Have been waiting but no response at all. I don’t have an idea to join them or not.

Beware, the website makes you believe that you are signing up for certain rates, you receive a welcome pack with much higher rates and when you question them the customer service person cancels the service and hangs up on you.
