Lake Road Vet Hospital - Open 24 Hours GP & Emergency

The team were all great and amazing at explaining everything. Everyone is easy to talk too, never once made to feel like a burden asking a million questions.

I am very grateful to the staff & vets for first helping me through the process of getting my beautiful budgie [mother hen] Georgie emergency assistance for her presenting problem, which was a progressive prolapsed vent, where her uterus was falling out of her. They made arrangements for me to bring her in and review her immediately. They assessed her and provided me with an emergency treatment plan for her, then took her into their care and performed an emergency procedure to put her back together under anesthesia overnight. They called me mid-dawn as I requested with an update on her condition, and it was positive news, they had successfully got things back into place, and Georgie had recovered well from the procedure. I picked her up the next evening after a full day of them monitoring her recovery, and they provided two weeks worth of medications to ensure that she was well looked after during her extended recovery period at home again with me. She is doing very well, she is happy, strong, and behaving like usual. I'm very pleased with the service Lake Road Veterinary Clinic has provided for my beloved Georgie, and I'm very grateful to have her feeling and looking happy and well once again. I'd recommend Lake Road Veterinary Clinic's team to anyone who has a pet who they truly love, as they really handle things the way you'd want them to handle things regarding your animal baby. The entire handling process was excellent. I was very happy to receive the 2:30am phone call with the update on her progress, and how helpful everyone was in ensuring she received the best care she could get. It means everything to me that she's still with me and is feeling so much better.

The vets and staff at lake road veterinary hospital have been amazing from day 1! They explained all procedures to me, gave me estimates for all my options and ensured I could visit my baby when he was in hospital. He has made a full recovery and is happy and healthy! I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone! Incredibly well trained and they have amazing facilities and equipment. Being open 24/7 is also incredibly reassuring incase of any emergency! Lake Road Vet Hospital is absolutely amazing.The staff are all friendly, caring, and very understanding.They treated my little girl with so much love and patience.The professionalism is outstanding.I was updated constantly regarding how she was doing and the outcome of all her test results while working with us regarding the best treatment plan for her when she was to be discharged.I highly recommend them.
