Enjoyed staying here, budget friendly, dogs on leash allowed, very clean facilities & manager Andrew is friendly & helpful. & it is a nearby base to fossicking sites. Happy camper!

Lovely maintained open space camping, with large camp kitchen. Very reasonably priced and caretakers Sandra & Brett are relaxed and accommodating. Would of loved to give a 5 star review but the council hasn't fixed the abolitions block. So only one shower & 2 toilets for entire campground.

As others have said, toilets very clean & tidy & well maintained, refurbished not that long ago. Caretakers very helpful & accommodating,l. Dogs are allowedI on leash & they supply some mobile firepits. The park is a deal location for fossicking & birdwatching in the general area. Been here repeatedly. The museum in town is a must & a step back in history, the town has a pub, Cafe/takeaway, antiques shop, & servo with reasonably priced fuel.

Just a beautiful, quiet & serene place to base ourselves while we have a look around the area.Craig, his wife & Andrew are fair dinkum just about the nicest, most honest managers & staff we've met ( & yes they really do go out of their way to help all customers ) .. & after 17 years on the road we have a fair good instinct regarding people.The pool" at the back

I have stayed here previously and found the pack to be one of the best maintained, not this time. I was shocked, amenities both men & ladies were out of order, which left one disabilities shower & two toilets for campers which weren't cleaned properly.The new camp kitchen was dirty, bbqs where filthy, pipes under the sink where leaking onto the floor.

Good basic facilities at a good basic price. You can largely stay where you will to try and avoid ending up a few metres from the madding crowd. Town is in desperate trouble but Museum is excellent and their Devonshire Teas even better.

Quite setting with strategic shade trees. Caravan and camping anywhere in the park, chose your own spot unless it's super busy. Amenities are aging but very clean. Showers are nice and hot. Very friendly and helpful unpaid park manager. He is knowledgeable on the area and where to find various types of rocks to fossick. He is happy to show you a few sites if your interested. We ended up staying 3 weeks as there was so many fosscking spots to explore.

Great place to stay. Managers, Craig and Rebel, are lovely and very helpful. Craig showed us a few spots to fossick but the history of the area he shared was fabulous. Made our stay. Engage with the locals, they are a fountain of knowledge.
