I had a great time doing a lesson with Jono. He explained things really clearly and made the lesson really fun. My sister and 8 year old son loved it too. Would definately come back again, wish we could stay longer.

I had my first ever stand up paddleboard experience with Jono today. I really enjoyed his excellent instruction, sense of humour and the fact he reallyChallenged me to improve and get going on the board.It was a great lesson and I highly recommend it to all. He also teaches surfing too.

Had a great time with Jono in our surf lesson at Smiths beach. It was my 2nd ever surf lesson and I had a bit of fear for the water but Jono made us feel at ease, was super friendly and taught us a lot about the water, how to be safe on the boards and best technique to get us up on the boards. Good lesson, I got to take it at my own pace whilst still being encouraged to push further and get the most out of it! Would do it again.

The team at Surf Trax have converted us into complete surfing addicts! From what started as a fun surf lesson with friends on Phillip Island has turned int a full blown passion thanks to Jono's expert advice and support. His knowledge and technical ability has helped empower us to read, catch and surf waves, and given us the confidence for more. Could not recommend the Wilsons Prom Camp highly enough - between a beautiful setting, incredible waves, and the ability to go adventuring both on water (with surf boards and SUPS) and on land (mountain hikes and beach bikes) was an experience I'll never forget! Thanks so much Jono, can't wait for the next adventure!

Jono is a fabulous instructor, my family and I were all new to SUP and he had us on our feet in no time. A fun morning was had by all… we are already thinking about when to book our next lesson with SurfTrax… and he even recommended a great local cafe for lunch!

Private lesson with Jono. Had a great time. He’s very experienced and is amazing with kids. My son is 7, autistic and non-verbal, and this was the highlight of his trip.

Very smooth experience.Great communication by admin manager, and very enjoyable time on the beach.We had two lessons booked: 60 min for my daughter & then 90 min for me. Jono (the instructor) ran us through basics together, and then (while keeping an eye on me & giving tips when needed) devoted almost 2 hours to get my 6-y.o. surfing. She enjoyed it tremendously, got standing on her first lesson, and keeps talking about coming back for several days after. So I guess we'll be returning for more.Thanks guys!

Jono is an awesome instructor. I had a 90min 1 on 1 lesson, and really felt solid improvement by the end of it. Just FYI - the booking time for your lesson is the time you meet Jono in the carpark (look for a black ute with a black Surf Trax trailer). We had some spare time at the end so Jono let me keep using the board and wetsuit.Can't speak highly enough of him!
