Puma Mount Larcom

Mt Larcom is outside of Rockhampton on your way to Brisbane and is a nice town.We stopped here to use the ammenities, I was expecting the usual open the door and there would be two toilets in a small area and not terribly clean. Well, I was impressed when I walked in and saw that it looked more like the updated but small version of a new shopping centre. The cubicles were a good size with enough room for long legs, they were clean in fact very clean for public toilets, had toilet paper, they had disability bars on the sides of the walls and the was good because if you need something to hold onto or help get up.The pedestal itself was higher then most public toilets and I could sit on it without having to have my legs go out to the side and feel uncomfortable like a lot of Hosptial toilets especially in Melbourne. There was no strain on my legs or back and it honestly was a pleasure to use these toilets.The washing basins were lovely, of a high standard and a good height, if I remember correctly, they had two different height basins (You can see the basins in the photo.) and you could see most of yourself. Outside the toilets in the walkway/hallway at the end is a wash basin, soap and paper town or air dryer for your hands if you only need to wash your hands. This is something that I have not seen in many places and Puma need to be commended for providing this.When walking in, the layout of the inside of the shop where you pay for your fuel and can get food, some supplies for your car from what I remember looked very good and clean. They have a coffee making area as you walk in from what I remember, but I didn’t use any of the shop facilities although it was busy.Puma caters for trucks as they have a separate truck fuel area.Overall this is a very clean bright and comfortable place. I cannot say anything about prices because I paid no attention to the prices.So if you are in need of a toilet stop, stop here because it’s the nicest that I have seen in a servo for probably ever. I just hope that the toilet lids etc don’t get damaged, please people look after what’s not yours but what you’re allowed to use. Puma, you get 4 stars for your toilets and basins plus how clean they are and the other things mentioned above, so keep up the good work keeping them clean!

A good fuel stop under 100 kms of Rockhampton. Heading south a turning lane is available for access to the fuel stop.

A good rest before the long drive towards Gympie, so a hot coffee and food, is very welcoming at 8'oclock at night.

Every time I go through mount larcom I always stop for fuel yesterday I had breakfast and it was yummy

Didn't actually buy fuel or food this time,but as usuall,the toilets were very clean.good stop for fuel and food.

No where for kids or pets to walk. Just a shop in the middle of a big concrete car park.No grass, no picnic tables or area.Very little thought for persons to take a break out of the car

Great service and service with a smile. My daughter left my wife's mobile in the store we discovered this in Yarwun and had to turn back. On arrival the last at the counter recognised my daughter and returned my wife's mobile. Thank you so much
