Lux Nails

Poor communication due to no speaking proper English. They don't do walk in customers and I was turned away to go back later. Not a good impression as a customer. Must have been for good reason for me. Cos after reading the reviews I'm glad I didn't waste my money or time here. Definitely won't be going back.

I didn’t even do my nails here - simply walked in to book a time and looking at their attitude, don’t want them to even touch my nails :) how do you call yourselves’Lux Nails’ ?

I went here because the prices were cheap, and they quite busy, considering I only live down the road thought it would be nice to go somewhere local.The service was unbelievably terrible they were rude, didn't listen and had the worst attitude. they cut my cuticles on nearly every finger, used extremely dirty tools that I had to tell the girl twice to get a new sterilized clippers, but she never listen so I left half way through the service, with bloody fingersNow I see why their prices are cheap because the quality and service is so bad.I do not recommend this place, go at your own risk if you want to catch a disease.I might try the nail salon down the road in the hair salon. If they are not good I'll just continue going to the city.

Had SNS on nails and my natural nails are long. I had one tip due to a break months prior. Put me to soak, took off with grinding tool and soak which got my old colour all over fingers. Then she kept asking me about tips, I said I have one. It was so hard for her to get it, she held my hand and just began to snip off. No asking what length I wanted or if wanted trimmed. Anyhow picked my colour. I’ve had SNS applied for 7 or 8 years and this was an odd application. Finally finished with the application, and lady working on me got up and walked off. Another come over wanting to put on cuticle oil, I asked can you clean my fingers. She then sat over 10 minutes cleaning off the mess that would have sent me out of store with had i not asked. So cuticle oil after clean and some cream. Price was cheapest I’ve ever paid which I thought was a pleasant suprise. But less than 2 weeks later I have cracks in polish where it is I may loose half my nail and just now half of another nails polish on different finger cracked and come off. The ends near cuticles are super catchy so I can see more damages occurring before I get to a salon. Won’t recommend unfortunately.

Staff was rude...talking in their own language, felt very disappointed.

They are so rude and unprofessional.They don’t know how to deal with customers. Attending two customers at same time. Personally I don’t recommend this nail salon. Very bad experience. Very disappointed

I've been there twice. It's a very uncomfortable atmosphere if you don't speak their language because they don't speak any English at all so none of your questions will be answered. My first shellac was lumpy. The colour range was inadequately small and the pot of polish was obviously quite old and should have been replaced long ago. The second time I went to get an SNS removed. The girl did not allow my nails to soak long enough and used a drill to remove it. SNS damages nails anyway but after this my nails were painfully thin.

Had an appointment there at 1030 am only to be waiting 2 hours to be seen , nails are horrible very crooked ,shaped very poorly , was rushed , no one ask if we were happy with how the nails where or how the shaping was , DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME

I don’t believe the staff are even qualified to do nails.I got a set of nails done here, and a million things went wrong.To begin with I needed sns removed and instead of soaking it off like any sane professional business would do, they began to scrape off the sns with a sharp tool. When I made it clear it hurt me, she still kept going and even brought every other “nail technician” in the salon to give it a go at scraping the sns off. Finally she stopped after having scraped my right thumb so bad that it was bleeding. After seeing it was bleeding she put my hand in acetone. The whole time she never cleaned the wound, asked if I was okay… you know any thing a decent human being would do after hurting the other person.To say the least, never going back here. Don’t really want a nail infection or rude horrible unprofessional staff.
