Delicious homemade fresh pies.Great fish and the best thick and chunky chips to dip in to a mouthwatering gravy.Probably the best gravy I've had in years. Could have drank it.

First time at this cafe, won’t be back. Had to wait for 20mins for a chai while staff stopped and chatted. One girl on the coffee machine, who just fluffed around… It’s great to talk to your customers, but focus on the orders. People have places to be!!!

I bought a breakfast for on the road, the Meat Pie at Take a Break Cafe today, hands down the best pie I have had in years. Flaky pastry, great amount of real meat and tasty gravy. Thanks to the News agency girls who recommended this place.

I had the corn fritters which were very nice and well presented, my wife had sunshine omelette, which tasted nice but the presentation was a bit ordinary, really when it came out to the table it looked like a burnt pizza. A bit of garnish would have made all the difference.
