Such a dream visit to Redleaf Farm! Katrina was the most kind hearted, friendly and gracious host. We had a lovely tour of the farm here learning about how the farm is run and how eco friendly it is. My whole family loved our visit here. Highly highly recommend!

After loving the farm tour, we decided to come back for a glamping experience. The kids loved to see all the animals again (and more!). The tent set up was nice, comfy beds and spacious enough with everything provided. The adults highlight was the outdoor shower (with hot water) under the rain. Kids also did canoing, zipline, trampoline. Lovely spot! We will be back with friends soon.

The experience of staying at Redleaf Carriage 343 was unique and extremely memorable. The family had a blast! Living on the carriage was pleasant, private and peaceful, being tucked away in a corner of the farm. Being outdoors, you have to keep in mind that there will be some bugs - didn't really bother us, really. MVP was a spider that made its web right by a window which caught many of the flying insects. No issues with the bedroom, toilet, shower and kitchen area. All very well maintained. While on the farm, you'll be able to meet and pet some of the animals. You'll also be able to help, if there's a chance. And the AMAZING LOOKING COWS!! They will come right up to the fence to graze and those who aren't shy will let you pet them.BONUS!! We saw a wild kangaroo hop by our carriage.Overall, a fun and unique experience for the family!!

Super friendly and helpful host Katrina and Cleo the camel, Whisky the dog, Coco the baby lamb…..all the details make the trip fabulous, it’s cold there in winter, but the campfire will warm you up and still lots to do around the farm and lake.Lots lots of happy animal, best trip to go with kids.Thank you Katrina & family.

Redleaf Creek is fabulous! We hiked for hours, bathed in waterfalls and the outdoor tub, stayed dry and safe through a huge storm, and enjoyed the birds, trees, creek and common camp amenities. It was the easiest camp we've ever had - nothing to pack up afterward, just our own clothes and esky and great memories. We could go as wild or mild as we wanted.

My wife booked this carriage as a surprise birthday getaway for me. The excitement as we approached quickly faded as we entered. The smell was something I would liken to a cemetery experience, not the charm of a rustic carriage. The master bed smelt like it had been wet recently. There were food crumbs on all the chairs. Then as the sun went down, the actual residents of the carriage appeared. Every single spider in the southern highlands. Not outside. We were given complimentary robes. The first spider, approximately half a palm size, made it's home IN one of the robes. Multiple spiders appeared on the roof above the bed. Similar sized, unidentifiable ones appeared above the chairs we planned to use to play board games in the tranquil surroundings. There was nothing tranquil about scrambling trying to kill these things with the complimentary half can of automated bug spray meant for a dispenser. As one narrowly abseiled past my head, we decided we couldn't stay. We messaged the owner while we were still on the property to advise what happened & that we were leaving. The phone showed she read the message but didn't even offer the courtesy of a reply. Only after we had contacted airbnb to mention the situation, did she bother contacting, stating we didn't give her the opportunity to fix the situation. Rubbish. It took 20 minutes of opening & closing farm gates to escape this arachnid nightmare. She had plenty of time to offer a solution, or an alternative. In theory, staying at this place is wonderful, & the tranquillity is wonderful, but in reality, unless you're hoping to be a Web slinging superhero, the only experience you will take from a night here is one of possible pain & poison, being bitten by one of the nasty looking unidentifiable residents. Here's a tip for the owner. Maybe offer a bonfire experience so those of us you've ripped off can watch the old piece of junk burn to the ground, with the spiders going with it. Thank God Huskisson was a short drive away where accommodation is clean & the proprietors know how to run an accommodation business. One star is far too generous, but the fact the proprietor kept $150 of our money as a cleaning fee is laughable. She hasn't set foot inside to clean for a very long time based on how we found it. Perhaps the $150 will go towards the accelerant required to rid this earth of the evil within.

No detail is overlooked at Redleaf Carriages. From the minute we boarded our train bound for nowhere it was instantly obvious to us that we were in for an amazing couple of days. The carriage is nestled in a secluded area of this stunning farm and, on arrival, we were welcomed by the resident highland cows and an amazing breaky hamper from our host, Katrina. The carriage has absolutely everything you could want and more. With plenty of windows along the carriage you can enjoy the tranquil outdoors from the comfort of the carriage sitting by the wood fired heater. Our biggest recommendation when coming to Redleaf Carriages is bring everything with you. Grab some yummy cheeses, dips, bread and wine and sit around the fire pit or enjoy a sunset soak in the amazing outdoor tub. Take a wander down to the creek and have a paddle in a boat or canoe or say hi to the super friendly camel. Thank you to Katrina and family for being so welcoming on arrival and proving us with a much needed escape. We will definitely be back!

This place is truely magical. As close as it comes to feeling like you live on a farm without any of the hard work. Katrina & Sam made us feel very welcome, provided a welcome pack of goodies and spent time and great enthusiasm explained about their beautiful animals and farm ethos.Carriage 1238 was spacious, old-worldly luxurious and had everything our family of 4 could need. The kids could not have been happier roaming with all the animals, swimming in the creek and zipping through the trees on the flying fox. Once you’re there you’ll never want to leave.
