I recently organized a DIY picnic through Grounded Picnics for my husband's birthday. I picked up the equipment from their Northside Studio and Gretel (the owner) was super lovely and helpful. Everything was high quality and I loved the fact that I could set up the picnic in my own backyard with my own creative flair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The team at Grounded Picnics was awesome from the beginning. Sharee responded to my initial enquiries quickly and we put together a package with ease, including the location we wanted. Final numbers were locked in a few days beforehand which was handy. And the final set up on the day was stunning (including the Peacock chair). The team also stayed behind after they set up and helped us put up few additional decorations. Would definitely use these guys again.

Gretel and her husband set up a beautiful picnic for my baby shower. They were quick and efficient. Gretel was very accommodating with the multiple change of venues due to the forecast. Grounded Picnics is also the best value for money, they were the cheapest for a minimum 3 hrs which I was unable to find with anyone else.Thank you so much, it was a beautiful setup!

Grounded Picnics set up a beautiful surprise picnic for my wife and 7 of her closest girlfriends for her 40th birthday and I couldn’t recommend them enough. The peacock chair was a nice touch - highly recommend!

I'd used another picnic hire business before.And was disappointed.So I wasn't sure what to expect with Grounded Picnics, even though they had some great reviews.I had some reassuring email back and forth with Gretel from GP before I booked and that gave me the confidence to go ahead and book her.The event I was hosting had to be good because it was for a work function.It would have been super embarrassing if it had been a dud like the other supplier I used that other time.But everything was perfect!And we had a great day.My work colleagues thought I was genius!So big thanks to Gretel and the GP team for making the whole process painless.Top-notch operators!

I just wanted to say a huge thank-you Gretel for being so flexible and easy to deal with in my last minute changes due to weather predictions. In the end, Friday morning at New Farm park was perfect weather wise. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with the picnic set up, it was exactly as she had hoped. All the girls that attended commented about how beautiful it was, and they loved siting and eating and chatting on the lovely soft cushions. It was very special for our daughter’s 13th birthday party. Thank you Gretel, Grounded Picnics made her day very memorable!
