FITZROY CYCLES-BICYCLE CENTRE-CHADSTONE

Visited the shop due to a puncture in my mountain bike tire. Was promptly assisted by a young male staff member who could find a replacement tube, but wasn't given a receipt. It wasn't until I got home that I learnt that a rim tape was also required. I instead went to 99 Bikes in Springvale who could ably assist with help from staff members in Sales and Service. I look forward to returning to 99 Bikes for a bike service and other parts since the service is friendlier, more professional, with great advice, plus the receipt can be sent to your email.

Purchased a commuter e-bike from Bill & Annie, they explained everything about the bike to me in plain language which made me feel confident and comfortable with my purchase. The sale was backed up with exceptional 6 months unlimited free servicing. Highly recommend.

The worst customer service imaginable. Left my kid's bike for a service. Quoted for $75 and told that if more work required they will call me to confirm if I want to do it.After a week (No one even called so I assumed they just did it) I came to pick it up.Elderly looking man (My understanding that he's the owner/manager) pulls up the receipt for $167. I'm telling him that no one called me to confirm the extra work. So he gets all agitated tells me that he'll charge me $100 for a job as a favour and keeps rumbling and swearing at me. I was there with 2 of my kids so didn't make a scene. Gave him my card and he swiped and threw it back at me. I just took the bike and left with a very unpleasant feeling. Be warned - the owner is very unpleasant person. Will try to scam you and when you point him to this he'll get all angry and will swear as if you've tried to do something bad.If there was a negative scoring I'd give it -100.My advice - save your money for a more customer oriented business.

Always helpful - they know their stuff. Great bikes. Good prices.

These guys serviced a second hand Giant I bought from Marketplace. What a difference! Rides like a dream now. Also did a much better job of the bar tape than my amateurish effort. I'll be back.

I’ve been going to Fitzroy Cycles for years and always found them great. Tonight my expectations were exceeded again when I went hunting for a few extra chain links to use on my home trainer which I’d set up with a larger cluster and derailleur. Their mechanic found what I needed and they gave it to me for nothing. Much appreciated team Fitzroy Cycles!

Thank you very much the the team at Fitzroy Cycles. They really did a great job for my dad and I when we went in a month or so back. They fitted us out with all the parts we needed to fix his bike. The best part was the after sales service. My dodgy bike mechanic skills resulted in a part breaking and when my dad brought it back in Bill was more than happy to replace the part and refit it on the spot. Cost him $7.50 for the part. Fantastic!!

Great bike shop. I have been a customer for 6 - 7 years after I bought a Merida 500 Speeder for commuting on. Was a great recommendation by the store to get the Speeder 500, has been a excellent bike to ride and never had any issues (averaging 100km a week on it). The staff at the store have always been super helpful and they have well priced stock i.e. chain lube, etc etc. If you are looking for any bike advise / help etc, I can't recommend this store enough.

I have consistently had honest and reliable service from the team here. From when they were in Carnegie to this location in Hughesdale the same fair price great job approach has been applied every time. Keep up the great work !
