Merrylands Community Centre

Hardly respond to requests....highly unresponsive to request ...the staffs there feel like god

Good safe environment it's a pity that the Council is not more community focussed with customers service in giving solutions instead of road blocks with over regulated complice paper work

Very helpful community service

Not a nice experience at all I felt humiliated and uncomfortable while there and being assessed for help with food. When people are at their lowest a little kindness would go a long way even a smile . I am 65 six months off retiring, worked hard as a nurse since i was a voluteer at 15 in my local hospital, till i was old enough to do my training, and was asked why I could not find a job I am not well at all took a lot for me to get from my house to them and was treated so badly I will not go back there no matter how hard it gets. Have some respect for people doing it tough.

Appalling is the only way that I can describe the treatment that you are likely to receive at this centre. The staff approval officers are surly and racist and labour under the strange opinion that any aid dispensed is somehow being funded by them. They are rude and arrogant and condescending and my recent experience there was demeaning and showed a lack of concern for the basic dignity of humanity. I have had the bad forune to have to deal with them on an average of once every 2 and a half months since last January and have only survived the dreadful experience by being co-opted into their racist views and racist dialogue, solely on the basis of my Anglo-Celtic ethnicity. I my opinion, the staff should all be under threat of dismissal pending cultural sensitivity training.
