Hunky Dory Fish & Chips Bentleigh
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hunky Dory for their fish and chips, and it was absolutely outstanding! The fish was perfectly cooked, tender, and flaky, while the batter had a delightful crunch. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, a perfect accompaniment. The service was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience.Also boys in the kitchen were very welcoming and smiling loving what they were doing,I highly recommend Hunky Dory for an exceptional fish and chips meal that will leave you craving for more!

THE best seafood in the area. Good for any seafood craving. The menu has you covered from fresh raw oysters to perfectly fried classic fish and chips, grilled and the rotating specials are always a hit. Amazing taste, fresh and delicious.Service is one of the friendliest in Melbourne! A fantastic place to take friends/fam for a weekend catch-up.

Hunky Dory Fish & Chips Bentleigh
I’ve been going to Hunky Dory in Highett for years and I always order the grilled seafood and salad with rice. Thought I’d try the Bentleigh one for a change and unfortunately it pales in comparison. The calamari and prawns were over cooked. The seasoning on all the seafood was lost by the over grilling which caused an oily film. The flavour just wasn’t nice and not to the standard I’ve come to expect for that particular dish. The rice was a little soggy as well. Salad was fine. I wouldn’t come back to the Bentleigh store and will continue going to Highett from now on. It’s a shame because the aesthetics of the Bentleigh restaurant is really nice!

Hunky Dory Fish & Chips Bentleigh
Really excellent fish and chips. The salad was delicious and nicely dressed. The chips were fried to perfection - so crispy outsides and soft insides.The prawns were delightful and well cooked.I'd suggest getting in for an early dinner: they were busy and I suspect they sell out fairly quickly. Definitely hope to return :)

Hunky Dory Fish & Chips Bentleigh
A fish and chips restaurant and take away place in Bentleigh 13km SE of Melbourne. Located on the Centre rd shopping strip, the place has nice seating at the front and back. Ordering was seamless and staff were nice but the fish and chips were chewy and the fish smelt awful. Probably the worse fish, chips, and calamari I have eaten. I didn’t even bother with the potato cake. The meal was well presented but a two star review is generous.

As with the few other Hunky Dory locations I've been to, this one has reasonably fast service and yummy food. It's long and narrow, so at peak times, the order area can get quite congested with people lining up, but there's a lot of seating towards the back.The food is consistently good and the staff are friendly. They also are pretty accommodating with order requests (like no salt) and it's priced pretty well.I recommended it here when you want a quick, casual meal or to get a delicious take out treat now and then.

Always love my grill fish n Chips. They do Potato cakes and steam dim sims. Which is my go to. Staff always friendly, shop immaculately cleaned. Food is freshly made, hot and good. Would recommend hands down.

This restaurant nails it with their fish and chips! The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is charming. You won't find a better fish and chips experience anywhere else! AND THEY HAVE VEGEAN OPTIONS AS WELL.
