Fantastic experience with dealing with the emergency department at Epsworth. A family member of mine met with an accident and we had to rush her here. The staff were extremely friendly, understanding and responsive to all her needs. Wendy was spectacular at her work at the emergency reception!

All GPs were full so called to get a general sense of wait for my unwell 3 year old grandson as did not want him sitting around in ED at public hospital for too long. Was told non reimbursable charge was $240, then said they couldn't tell me whether their ED was quiet or busy i.e. could wait 10 minutes to 10 hours depending. So what is point? Pathetic and what a rip off!

Another visit to the ED at Epworth with exceptional response time and staff conduct . I was reassured whilst waiting in the waiting room as were all other patients waiting. I drive from Point Cook to go to this private ED and the fee is worth every cent. Triaged X-rays and result in under 90 mins and told to come back if my pain got worse. The person who did the X-ray was extremely helpful and supportive and very kind as were triage and clerk. 100% recommend this ED.

I wanted to send a very sincere thank you too all the staff at the Epworth ED for the recent care you provided to me (Friday evening / Saturday 21/10/22). I had just had a lumbar epidural earlier in the day and I had some complications. You were extremely swift to get me in after a call to ED. A special thank you to Dr Neil in ED, Dr Matt Ryan in EMI and nurse (Jane I think) I am now feeling amazing and pain free. It is an amazing hospital.

We were attended to very quickly and efficiently. The nurse on duty (Tim) was helpful and very kind, patient and caring. Dr Patricia was super calm and gentle. My daughter was in shock after an injury, and the staff responses were reassuring for both of us. Thanks!

Recently had to take our daughter to ED. It came at a significant out of pocket cost, but the level of support from all staff was 10/10. The nurses and the Doctor had such lovely bedside manner, frequently checking in to see how we were and took the time to explain what was wrong and treatment required.

I took my 8 month old in to Epworth ED, after 5 hours of projectile vomiting, unable to tolerate fluids. It was very busy but cannot fault the professionalism and kindness of the nurses and Dr from the front desk triage, through to going home.

Got to emergency, waited 40 mins to get in- not too bad. Passed a kidney stone after an hour of being in there, then waited another 4 hrs to get told i had a kidney stone, which i already knew, and then released??? I ended up having to check myself out! With Staff and Drs consistently saying oh i cant believe how busy it is today!" ED was a quarter full
