GK Removals

Our move with G K removals in February 2023 was fantastic, I would not hesitate to recommend them, or work with them again. We moved a large 3 bedroom, heavily furnished house from Chisholm to Conder, and George was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of tips and advice for doing it the way we wanted. He walked through our house on the same day I had called for an enquiry, and gave us a rough quote which turned out very accurate. We did all our own boxing and packing and G K Removals moved all our big furniture and boxes, including outside furniture and tall fruit trees in pots. The move took 10 hours, over 2 days, and George and the boys made it as easy for us as they could. The boys were exceptionally polite and helpful, and nothing was damaged in the move, and they were careful to get things exactly in place to our specifications. Nothing seemed too much trouble. George has a wealth of knowledge to help in preparing for your move and was extremely friendly and easy to work with. Everything went to plan and it was as pain-free as a big move can be. My husband and I were really happy with the service, the price, and the friendly attitude of the whole team. So thanks George and the boys, we won't hesitate to use your services in the future.

George and his team Jack and Ryan were fantastic. They were on time and their service second to none. George ensured that our possessions were all well looked after and handled with care. I used GK removals in November 2022. The job involved two pick up points at opposite ends of Canberra and a delivery to the Tuggeranong area. They arrived spot-on the time they said they'd arrive and the team of three were professional, charming and took great care with all the items being moved. I was especially impressed at how they managed to manoeuvre a very steep stair-case at the destination address. Nothing was damaged and nothing was too much trouble for them. An excellent experience.

GK Removals was a pleasure to move house with! They really took the stress out of everything and went above and beyond. The team took items they may not usually take because they knew I only had my bicycle to get around on. All my glassware and crockery was carefully packed, no breakages or scrapes occurred on any of my furniture and they took great care of my loose arts and crafts items which could have been easily damaged but arrived in perfect condition.George, Oli and Harry were a joy to chat with while they worked, they were extremely efficient, friendly, helpful and professional.Karin was also highly responsive on email while setting up the move and answered any and all queries I had, as well as helping me figure out a logistics plan when the initial plan wasn't able to line up properly.I would highly recommend this great and friendly team of people to help you move house! I've used GK removals twice now to help me move house and I have been very impressed. On both occasions George and the team were very quick and efficient, courteous and careful with my belongings. Nothing was damaged. Price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

We've used George and his team multiple times over the past two years and they always provide a professional, quick and friendly service. I couldn't be happier with a move they helped us with during lockdown last year. Everything arrived safely and in one piece. They carried it out in a COVID safe manner and wore masks the whole time, even while carrying heavy furniture up and down stairs without complaint. Despite the mask you could still see in George's eyes and tell by his voice that he was smiling the whole time (as he always does), which shows he loves and takes great pride in his job, which has trickled down to the rest of the team as everyone we've dealt with has been lovely. He really cares about his customers too. During that move they took extra time to help rearrange furniture to our liking and stayed to make sure we were happy with the result. I couldn't recommend the team more highly.
