Deloraine Riverbank Reserve
Most beautiful riverbank in Tasmania. River teaming with water birds platypus and ideal for swimming mid summer. Famous cherry blossoms on Westbank. Artwork on both banks. Ideal picnic venue with heaps of BBQ facilities. Safe and clean caravan park. A top spot for photography.

Deloraine Riverbank Reserve
I'm always keen for a walk around the meander river. A 30 minute walk can be completed by starting at the train park and going over the swinging bridge to the left(downstream of the weir) then walking up the south side of the river to the green rotary bridge and back down the north side to the train park again. Weather permitting, it's a splendid stroll.

Lovely amenities and a lovely park. We often start our fly fishing Deloraine tours here, as a good casting warm up on the grass and slow water. The Meander River was a 2019 venue for the world fly fishing championships.

Deloraine Riverbank Reserve
Deloraine is a lovely spot to use as a base for travelling around the north of Tasmania and I did so for the second time in less than 12 months by staying a couple of nights in a local hotel. The river and sculptures in town add to the experience

Deloraine Riverbank Reserve
It looks beautiful on spring. It is just 50 km far from Launceston. The riverbank is quiet and you can have very good view of Meander river.
