Chemist Warehouse Footscray

I was at Chemist Warehouse Footscray last night and had a horrible experience.I saw some makeup products for half price. There were signs all up on display!I took a good 30minutes (wasted my time) picking my products as there was a sale going on.When I went to pay the lady at the counter (Lily) said it’s not on discount and the signs were a mistake. I got zero apologies and she was so rude about it.There was no manager as apparently he was on “annual leave for two weeks”.As a customer, I have the right to get those products at the offer they presented on display! This is so wrong to treat a customer like this.I have attached a picture below. As I was taking this picture Lily from the register was trying to change the display.I’m so disappointed with chemist warehouse.

I bought a faulty plastic nail brush from Chemist Warehouse Footscray that literally broke into pieces the same day I bought it, before it had even been used! That fact that it was clearly faulty, I wrongly assumed it would be easy to get a refund. I was wrong.As I didn’t keep the receipt for the nail brush (didn’t think I’d need to!), the only option was to get a replacement one (which I didn’t want). Sure enough the replacement nail brush broke apart literally overnight by my sink! I returned it and instead of getting a polite “oh I’m sorry about that”, I was rudely told “you probably shouldn’t get it again.”I told him that I had said I didn’t want it the 2nd time because it’s faulty, but I wasn’t given a choice and that he should contact Manicare to let them know it’s faulty and remove it from sale. He responded, “I’m doing you a favour because you don’t have a receipt.”Oh my goodness, some great customer service that is. It felt like he was suggesting I was the reason both had broke overnight. They were brand new and broke without even being touched! I would have been completely fine with the whole situation if he’d just apologised for the inconvenience of being sold a faulty product.

The tall black security guard is unfriendly and suspicious. I have to show everything including my trolley, shopping bags and handbag searching for something to report even my $3 small perfume he had taken to prescription desk to inquire. I am a regular customer I won't steal anything. He must be bored to show off he did catch something even small. It's ridiculous to suspect an old person like me hurrying to get home as I'm in chronic pain. Security guard should be friendly with customers, not show off because he is tall and big. Unprofessional grumpiness or boredom?

Bought those two Musashi Intra Workout bottles from Chemist Warehouse Footscray back in 05/2021 and they did not warn me that one bottle expires 07/2021 (two months).I did not even notice, and started using the bottle (that expires in 07/2022) first. And of course I assumed the other bottle will also expire 07/2022 or similar.Only found out today that the other bottle expires 07/2021, which is already past expiry date.They said no exchange, and nothing can be done as I did not them know sooner. I did not bother fighting with them over the phone for 45 dollars but this was a bad experience for me as a customer. Chemist is a big company with a high turnover of stock, and somehow managed to sell me a almost-expired product and refused to take responsibility for just $45 dollars.Dissappointed!

Paid for 3-hour fast delivery but received nothing. No communication whatsoever. Literally stealing

The reason I gave 5 stars is because this very kind lady served me with very friendly cheerful and helpful smile - she went to each aisle to help me get the items I needed. Exceptional customer service indeed. I got what I wanted. I should have grabbed her name and I forgot. She is a Vietnamese lady I think. I was looking for an electric heat pack and she cheerfully went and helped me get what I need. I asked for her advice if it’s good she replied cheerfully yes and she has one herself too. Anyway bought it and went home and tried it. It’s very good.Thank you very much for your beautiful smile, helpful and cheerful service and exceptional service. Amazing job. Well done thank you so much. You have made my day ❤️I got what I needed and I m a happy returning customer.God bless you

A Vietnamese lady with long hair who served me at the front counter on 28/1(named Lily)on 28/1 was very rude and insolent behavior. She should have learned how to respect the customers, even if she is a boss .

Best excuse to go to the pub, hey darl just going to buy some dingers

Once i bought something in the net, and i never got it, i made a few phone calls, and nobody knew anything, after a few days of waiting, i was told the delivery was going to take longer, so i requested a refund.

Recommend that customers always check receipt and medication is correct.
