Great cruise. We got the lower deck middle seats and they were great for a group of four as you sit facing one another around a shared table. The stops were good and we loved the enthusiastic guide at Sarah Island. The meals were tasty, with good serving sizes and variety. Pictured are our adult and kids meals.

A must do experience. Looked after from the moment we boarded, escorted to our spacious and comfortable seats. Lovely afternoon tea and dinner while slowly going up the Gordon River. Great short walks at both Sarah Island and Heritage landing. 5 1/2 hours passed very quickly on this great tour.

It was amazing, nice tour guide during the whole trip. Was nice meal and and clean cruise. They took us The Hell Gate (Macquarie Heads), Sarah Island, and Gorden river. At the end when we get off to walk in bushes the send a tour guide to tell all nice stories about the Huon Pine and the dam. We loved it so much.

Greatest thing ever done with a boat. A history lesson, a chat to the skipper, a visit to the wheel room, history lesson on the harbor and how the right engineering enabled zero dredging of the harbor. The discussion and education about the forest and huon pine trees with the history of the logging industry was a great leader to actually get off the boat and walk into the rainforest to meet these giants that live for 3,000 years. The return trip ended at the huon pine saw mill to see some huon pine getting cut from a tree that was felled decades ago but still in perfect condition due to the unique qualities of huon pine.

We booked World Heritage Cruises to include in our journey in Tasmania. It was certainly a highlight. On the day of the cruise we had great weather, a beautiful summer day. We went through Hells Gates, we saw the salmon farming, and visited the interesting convict remains at Sarah Island. I was delighted to discover the tour on Sarah Island were run by the artists of the Round Earth Company. The walk in the forest was very interesting, learning about the native plants and their uses in Aboriginal culture. The food was awesome, well portioned and included dietary requirement options. We had commentary all along onboard, great service and the freedom to roam on the boat. Shame that I did not get to know the escape route of one of the convicts at Sarah Island!

Worthwhile cruise on a big catamaran like boat. Luxurious seating, large meals provided and alcohol on board. The visit to Sarah Island was great and the guide was fantastic.A lot of retirees but we still really enjoyed our relaxing time. Only thing I thought was odd is you get morning tea with a drink but at lunch a drink wasn’t included.

This was my second trip with World Heritage Cruises and it did not disappoint. A great way to see the pristine environs of the Macquarie Harbour and Franklin Gordon National Park, not to mention a short but impactful visit to Sarah Island to discover some of it's penal settlement history. Their luxury cat was the perfect way to see this beautiful part of Tasmania... See you again next time we're in Strahan!!

Very friendly staff, so deeply knowledgeable and kind to families. We had such a great time on board - I found the lunch could be reworked a bit, but it was yummy and filled out tummies. Thank you all for a truely memorable experience!

The World Heritage cruise boat (Red) is a must if you are in the area. Both onshore and onboard staff are well presented, helpful, friendly and professional. Captain Andy" is a wealth of information - both of the craft he is in charge of and the surrounding areas he expertly pilots it. Passing through "Hells Gate" (both ways!) was an experience and Captain Andy also gave a detailed and factual narrative while doing so! The river part if the cruise was more tranquil. The Captain and staff were very professional
