We hesitantly got 3 systems installed as the ancient ducted and split systems were costing a fortune to run. The team at Solar ACDC explained everything, were fast and efficient, help setup our WiFi app for ease of use and we cannot rate the systems highly enough! Our home is cool and it's not costing me a cent to run! If you're on the fence, do your wallet and family a favour, get it!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I’ve had this unit for a week now. Being reverse cycle I can’t believe how well the unit works heating, even on cloudy sunless winter days. Quite running. No brainer as far as costing goes. The only AC on the market that pays for itself. Great customer service and install team. Love it!

My first 5kw Solar AC DC Split System Air Conditioner was installed Oct 2021. It was everything I hoped it would be. I was installed with 7 x 370 w panels. With the AC tuned off it runs happily during the day shutting down at night and starting again in the morning. Select AC limiter icon and it will use solar power primarily but up to 400ws from AC (grid power) when solar drops down including at night. Deselect AC limiter with AC on and unit runs like a normal split system only drawing AC to make up when Solar drops off. Full control from your mobile and other mobiles. I have been so impressed that last Sept I replaced an existing standard split system that was about 2 years old with another Solar ACDC split system. This system has 6 x 440W panels. This summer both Solar ACDC systems have been set to start when there is enough sun light and stop when the sun goes down. This has kept the whole house comfortable with the two rooms where the systems are installed being cool, almost cold. Living in Perth the other advantage is that as the panels do not export power to the grid Synergy don't include them in the limit they place on normal solar systems. To date my first Solar ACDC unit has used 1.993 Mwhs from the solar panels and my second Solar ACDC unit has used 757 kwhs.

He will easily walk you through the app and give you the best understanding of these systems to get the best out of it! We are completely off grid Stand Alone Solar and we are loving having air conditioning in our house! Thank you Rob!!

Just installed the 3.5kw 48 volt DC A/C to our off-grid house. Works great, super efficient working directly off the batteries and is a quality unit. Thanks for your help Rob in deciding on the type of AC to suit our system and for the fast delivery. For those that are reading this with a 48v battery system, if you have a surplus of unused solar, this is a no brainer. Couldn't be happier.

Dealing with Rob & Scott & their team was easy & they could answer any technical questions on the custom ducted install 1×7Kw & 1×5Kw we had done fully running off solar 24/7 @ 22degs in all rooms makes such a difference (we 100% off the grid) systems work extreamly well even on current limiting assist of stand alone 12Kw solar system to assist @ night once you set all programming it was the best investment we have done next is hot water unit upgrage off lpg to their new unit.

We’ve recently had the smallest and largest until installed in our home. We’re off grid so power use is a major factor when considering the installation of appliances. Air conditioners use a lot of power, and without very expensive boosting of our solar array and batteries, house cooling was out of the question for us. Instead we relied on the passive solar design of our home, and use of blinds, fans and shading to keep the house cooler. Despite this, during a heatwave our home would become uncomfortably hot. These units are a godsend for us, as during hot days they run without drawing on our battery storage at all, and keep the house at a constant temperature. We now know that we’ll never have to experience the house being too hot again. Even when we’re away, we can fully control the units and check the ambient temperature in our home remotely via the smart phone application. We haven’t used them in winter yet, which we look forward to experimenting with, as we’re reliant on wood heating for the home so a boost from the units will be welcome. So far I can highly recommend the units, and Rob has been great help in the set up.

Living in the Top End means using air conditioners. We are a retired couple and run 2 air conditioners every day for about 11 hours. Imagine our power bill! Now that we have solar acdc air conditioners our power bills have reduced drastically. I recommend Solar acdc to all.Ray WaltonPalmerston NT
