Balingup Transit Park

Great spot. Stayed 5 nights. Grassed area with toilets, water and showers. Great place to eat in town as well

Beautiful place to stay. Yes there are cheaper places down the road but to be able to camp right on a creek with toilets with in 50 m plus a shower block about 100m away is brilliant. Plus is that Balingup is a really lovely place to visit.

Quite nice but thought it a bit pricey for a transit park at $31 a night 2people and the lady told us you need to pre-book so probably won't stay again

Showers lovely, views stunning, an easy walk into town…..BUT we encountered a noisy party up the road with a live band which TOTALLY ruined our second night. It was impossible to sleep so we packed up and drove home at 1am. About 20 of the guests attending the party were staying at the park and coming back drunk, laughing and yelling. I called the police in Donnybrook who promised to come and shut the party down but it was still going at midnight. Very disappointing. A word of advice to the lovely lady at the visitors centre who booked us a powered site…..that you…..were so lovely and helpful but I think you are unaware of hooligans in your lovely town who spoil it for tourists…if anyone is intending to have a party near the Balingup Transit Park they need to let you know so you can inform people before they book so they can stay somewhere else if it bothers them. Such a pity to have our second night ruined.

Lovely spot, easy access.Nice amenities at club grounds for Transit guests, door code provided.Book at Balingup Visitors Centre 97641818Stayed 3 nights, only 2 other vans in park over that time.Noticed it was the place to come to exercise your dog on the oval. Doggy bags provided at public toilet block, some dogs had a swim in the creek.

Close walk to town, right on a creek (dont swim), fire pit, power, hot showers, affordable. Tent or caravan required

It's a very small well maintained campground.Bookings via call to Balingup Visitor Centre 97641818.Suitable for caravans and tents.Maximum stay - 3 nights.Powered/Unpowered sites.Amenities - are toilets only, seen showers for a fee ( not sure if it includeed in the rate ).It's is located just in the middle of Balingup / right on Bibbulmun track.

Great stopover 2 minutes walk to town. Powered sites.Water at the toilet block. Would stay again.

Secret little place in Balingup awesome stop over few nights see the surrounding little towns.

Lovely little spot by the river, easy stroll to town. However, it is a transit stop next to the oval so feels a little exposed. The amenity block is the oval facilities with public toilets by the sites...all very clean. Thank you Balingup.
