First time my husband and I had been to this venue. We were greeted by a lovely and friendly waitress, who showed us to our table. The views were amazing, as was our breakfast and coffee that came with very little waiting time. Would highly recommend this restaurant, will definitely return again. 5 star's

This place could be good.... Could. Except for the fact it's a haunt for surely feckless boomers. And the kitchen doesn't seem to stock any food. This is truly a geriatric home by the water. The teenage staff(carers)excepted of course.Do yourselff a favour and go to the full moon instead. Which is what we did when they(yacht club) had nothing left on the menu!Responce to comment. Yes the comment re band was unfaitr. I have removed it. I wrote it in anger after experiencing an unpleasant time at your club. I can assure you this is not a promotion for an alternative venue. And that we did find your club a very unpleasant atmosphere to be in. We ordered several items to be told you did not have them. But we left as it was not a nice place to be. This is of course my opinion. Not a legal document.

I celebrated a milestone birthday at the club last Saturday night and what a fabulous night it was! The food was delicious and the setting was beautiful - we had the marquee by the waterfront. Shakira and her team were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble at all. All my guests went home very happyThank you.

Great place for a drink, food and music. The Believer band was awesome, bring them back for a Sunday on the grass... fantastic.

Let’s get one thing straight before we start, the extra star is for the view …. After much deliberation our table decided on their chosen meals. One antipasto plate, a couple of crab tacos and meatballs. Ok it was a windy day, but by the time the meals came to the table, the salad was in a neighbouring suburb. Firstly the crab tacos arrived ‘sorry we ran out of crab tacos yesterday so we have replaced them with fish tacos’ hmm ok would have been nice to have been given the option …. Then the meatballs arrived ‘sorry we ran out of meatballs yesterday so we replaced it with … you guessed it - fish tacos!! .. imagine our relief when the antipasto arrived and it wasn’t fish tacos. It was: 2x breadsticks 2x (slices) primo champagne ham 5x cherry tomatoes and an unidentifiable pickle. When quizzed on the ingredients the manager’s spokesperson simply said that ‘everyone has their own take on antipasto’ (for their benefit I have included a photo of what google believes antipasto should look like.)The waitress opened the till and handed me $15 as I don’t like seafood, and wasn’t prepared to eat the alternative chosen for me (fish tacos) no apology. So that was it - after a brief conversation with the manager’s spokesperson, who basically said we were lucky to get anything as we hadn’t booked … we left. Oh how we laughed as we headed elsewhere for … well … anything other than fish tacos!

We had Garlic prawns with steam rice" and "seefood basket with salad and chips". The prawns are nice but the rice was very disappointed. The rice testing like supermarket packaging

You can always tell a place is worthy of criticism when, rather than apologising for a bad experience, they dispute the customer's review in an argumentative and litigious manner (see the Club's response to the M Shukie review below). How they could justify running out of curry and all dessert options due to being subject to 'seasonal availability' is beyond me.Prawns and GF buns as well for that matter. These are all perennials.Even if certain items had sold out, it should have been incumbent on the staff member taking our order to inform us what else was unavailable, rather than letting us return to our table several times to get new orders from our group, only for us to queue up again just to be told our revised orders were also unavailable.

The food was fantastic. All homemade and delicious. Unfortunately i got my entree, then my main, then my partner got his entree and main at the same time. The drink prices have also gone up significantly. Hopefully just teething issues as the food is definitely worth the visit.

What a wonderful place to have a birthday party. My mother had her 100th Birthday party there on Saturday with family and guests. The club staff was friendly and very attentive. Buffett food was delicious and plentiful. I would not hesitate to recommend the club should you want to hold a function; they really went the extra mile and it's a perfect setting.
