Seaview High School

I wouldn't give a single star if I could. This is the worst school I've ever been to. Seven years ago, I was just over 18, I was not mature enough. But every time I think about my experience during that time, I think it has a great influence on my life. A Malaysian woman teacher named Sue was the worst teacher I had ever seen. She seems to help Chinese students, but in fact she only cares about students with good grades. She used to take money to help students to write essays for them, and she also helped her husband sell a car to a Chinese international student at the high school. Of course that student later on spent a lot of money on repairing the car. She even went through my bag without my permission and confiscated my belongings. She wore a whole bunch of Pandora bracelets every day, but only because I was 18 and I also wore Pandora, she said I was showing off". She even made up some facts that got me kicked out of school. I only blame myself for being too young and not powerful enough to argue with her. For now

Genuinely love the school with a strong passion, I’ve been attending for two years now and the transitions between year levels are so well thought out. All staff make sure every student is comfortable and looked after. When I first moved to seaview in year 8, I found it so comforting the way they cared for not only us 8th graders, but every single grade. On the year 8 group’s first day they had only 8th graders and 12th graders in the school. I could continue with many examples of how they care for students, but this I believe is one of the most memorable ones.

I got suspended for fighting back after someone tried to break both of my knees. He didn’t get punished in the slightest.

My sons experience was dismissal, they school is only interested in high performing students and have difficulty dealing with students that don't excel.

Upon just a few weeks at the school, I had basically gathered my bearings. Staff are friendly and approachable and help in any way they can. The FLO program is a huge help for students who can’t partake in mainstream school for various reasons. I would recommend to students seeking a school change, and to families in the area.
