Very disappointed with The Mulberry. Booked for 4 people to celebrate my daughters birthday but could only given 3 stools! And then given a table too small to serve tapas. This is the 2nd time we tried to eat here and won't be returning. Poor attitude from staff, probably due to being too busy to give a ****!

Booked for a group of 7 and when we arrived we were rudely told we had arrived late. So they sat us on bar stools while 2 people sat surrounded by empty comfy seats. Yes it was covid restrictions but we booked. I drank water. I only stayed because my friends were there. Music was great. I'll go see Boney Rivers somewhere else but not there!

Wasn't impressed at all. We called to ask if we needed a reservation and were told we didn't, we arrived half an hour later and every table but one was reserved. We ordered two cocktails which were ok but nothing special and three tapas dishes, two of the dishes were fairly good but the potato dish was totally inedible due to being undercooked and tasting badly burned. We ate the two edible dishes, finished our drinks and left to go find more edible food. We were hoping this would be the first of many enjoyable evenings at a nice looking bar 10 mins walk from the house we recently bought but unfortunately I don't think we'll be going back any time soon.

Took a group of 4 for lunch. Received a 2 cold steak burgers, cold chicken snitzel, and flavourless calamari.Ordered at 12:04 received food at 1:15. Advise against the bar.Beer was good though.

Great view and vibe. I attended for a recent event. The decor is beautifully updated for a classy yet casual vibe. The bar area is also beautiful. The PA system could use some work - hosts used a small speaker on a walker with an attached corded mic. The room is too large to speak loudly/shout. The audio for music lacks base, with overall average quality. The food was usual deep fried fare - surprising for a tapas bar but perhaps just on function menu. Tweaks required for the overall service to match how nice the space is.

Excellent - just what Toronto needs. It has a nice atmosphere, great lake views, sit down service and an awesome tapas menu. Also a quality selection of wine, spirits, cocktails and craft beer. We will be back for sure!

This is the coolest place to eat and drink in Lake Macquarie. Great service and food as well as fantastic views of the lake from the balcony. We'll be going there most weekends from now on.

What a fantastic experience! The Mulberry is a food and cocktail bar above the Toronto Hotel. We enjoyed lounging in the cuban styled ambience and enjoyed a variety of delicious foods...oysters with champagne vinaigrette, cuban pork tacos ,delicious garlic and chilli prawns, and an antipasto platter which had been created with love and tasted amazing. The staff were delightfully attentive as we enjoyed the beautiful views of Lake Macquarie and a setting sun. Needless to say, we will be back for more good times.

What a hidden gem!!! We recently celebrated a combined 21st birthday at The Mulberry, the decor and vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Samantha was a pleasure to deal with and so efficient with arranging every detail from the moment we had contact. I also would like to mention Joe & Lauren who were both wonderful and made afternoon/evening run smoothly. Thanks again to you all.

What more could you ask for?? The food was great. Million dollar view and the staff are hardworkers and very friendly.
