I WAS WONDERING IF TO WORK IN MIRANDA'S POST OFFICE NEEDS TO BE RUDE AS A PREREQUISITE.TODAY I RECEIVED ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF MY LIFE.THE LADY THAT SERVED ME TODAY HAD GLASSES AND SHORT BLACK HAIR, SHE IS EXTREMELY RUDE WHEN YOU ASK ANY QUESTION OR NEED TO ANY SERVICE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The manager of the shop, Peter, has a short person inferiority complex. As a customer I can choose other shops but I feel sorry for the rest of the staff that are very helpful. Australia Post does a poor job in putting people like this in charge of other staff. In my case, I was refused passport related services in the Miranda shop even though I had followed all the correct procedures and the staff were happy to serve me but Peter ‘as the manager’ overruled them - so I went to the Sutherland post office and got served with no issues.

The worst customer service the lady that served me had glasses and short black hair I was trying to return an iconic package and have never had an issue when it was more than one package on the same label she refused to do it saying that they have to pay for the return if it’s more than one parcel on the same docket and refused to help. Honestly the rudest person. I don’t know how you have a job in customer service.— UPDATE just returned the same package to bardwell park LPO and the lady not only took the parcel she helped me tape it. That’s what you call customer service. I wish zero stars existed awful awful condescending customer service.

So many similar reviews. Refused my passport photos because my head was too small (it measured perfect with what it stated) so I had to pay for more. They refused my partners application because her bank card didn’t have her first name on (the online application doesn’t ask to state the exact name on the card) no common sense, no understanding. It’s like they are robots only programmed to do simple tasks.

Once again terrible service at Miranda Post Office. Advised they won’t help do a passport renewal without an appointment when their own site states different and the rudeness of the women telling me this. Stating I won’t talk to you I’m leaving the desk as I won’t serve you. Literally no one else in the store to serve. Pop down to Gymea post office and they’re more than happy to help and process the application on the spot less then 5 mins after I left Miranda. Don’t waste your time at this post office

I have never had such rude customer service as what I received today by Kiora Road Post office employee 'Mary' (black bobbed hair). She was so extremely rude. How someone with that attitude can hold down a customer service job is beyond me. Even the other staff were pretending to not hear her comments. But they were fully aware. And then to see the amount of similar complaints (on here) about this SAME WOMAN! - does the post office manager of Kiora Road not read any of this? .. With so many polite, professional unemployed people wanting work - how does someone like that get away with it? Absolutely disgusting. Jo

Hours are an absolute joke!Impossible to pick up parcels when they won’t let family at the same address collect even with authorisation, then they’re closed outside normal business hours AND WEEKENDS! Absolutely disgusting.

How can local residents like myself access this service if they only open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, when a huge majority of the population work the same hours in their professions at different locations in Sydney? It just doesn't add up. The system is broken and antiquated. A useless service that only benefits retirees.Get with the times Australia Post, operate like Retail, open realistic retail hours, and for goodness sake relocate to Westfield. A little background music helps too.PS. Put some friendly staff on that actually want to be there, it helps a lot with good customer service. Just a heads up.

I have had numerous awful experiences at this post office but the worst thing about it is that they have overcharged me on multiple occasions. I was just there and they scanned an item twice - I paid for 2x a padded bag when I only got one. I went back a couple minutes later and they had closed so I couldn’t get a refund. Other times I have specifically told them when I’ve brought my own postage bag from home and they go ahead and charge me for it anyway. They need to be more careful and considerate. It’s never been a good experience here.
