The Silly Seahorse Indoor Playcentre and Cafe

Lovely play centre. Clean. Not the biggest or most modern but the kids loved it. Food is okay. Plenty of tables and a couple of couches. Separate play area for 2 and under, bouncy castle, ride on toys, ball pits, and the normal climb, explore, slide areas. We really liked that there was hardly anyone there - we went midweek so it may be busier on the weekends. It was good value and we'll be back.

Awesome.!!!!Every mum that is looking a lovely place to sit, have a coffee and watch everything your kid does this place is it. Not to but and not to small. Lovely new owners, so clean nothing like it was. And they sell little home Nick nacks too. :) :)

I must admit, we avoided this place due to earlier reviews but since the change of management, things must have improved (no disrespect to the previous owners as I’m sure there are many factors that contribute to public reviews).The $5 entry fee was great (not sure if this was because it was a week day). Cheaper than any other place within a 20 minute drive (that I’m aware of). The equipment here is somewhat limited compared to some other larger centres but is still certainly a lot of fun for younger kids.We spent a good two hours there. Also ordered a sandwich for the kid and a coffee for myself. Sandwich was lightly toasted which was just nice for a toddler. Coffee was also good.There is also an on site store selling some accessories. I didn’t have a thorough browse but saw this from the outside. There is also an area with little tricycles at the back that I didn’t see at first.Run by lovely, polite people with friendly service.Will be back!

My little one celebrated his first birthday here a few months ago. Everyone had a good time! The only issue we had (guests also commented on it) was that the food and coffee took a really long time to serve (at least 30 mins for the coffee and an hour for the sandwiches). The sandwiches were also very plain and almost had nothing in it. Other than that, we were pleased!

Great little play centre for the younger kids. Entry price of $5 is amazing. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars was the fact there was only one staff member on and once it started to get busy she seemed like she could have benefitted from another set of hands. Orders were very slow to come out. Will definitely be back though

We had an after hours hire party. Was a great space with lots of tables and chairs for adults to sit around while the kids played. All the kids had a ball. The staff was good on the night and wasn’t hovering but made herself available when needed.

The place looks run down and out of date. Also it looks like it is not cleaned every year, rubbish and wrappers are everywhere. I would not come back here.

We had a private hire at The Silly Seahorse on a Friday night. The venue was clean and tidy, the bathrooms clean and the service area also spotless. The owner / manager was helpful and assisted us with setting up before the party and cleaning up after the party. He was polite and very helpful. It was great that we were allowed to set up how we wanted and move tables/chairs to suit. The café food / hot drinks were great and super helpful when hosting a party. Coffee was also a hit! Couldn't thank them more for there service for my daughter birthday and we definitely will be back!!!

Great for the little kids. Took my 2 year old daughter here, wasn’t too sure what to expect due to the dingy looking facade. But there is so many options for the smaller kids to roam around without you having to climb in with them, and although there is a larger playground for the bigger kids, it’s not super huge and overwhelming like some other indoor play centres. I also loved how affordable it is, same as the food, and it was nice and quiet. Hidden little gem, I actually prefer it for a toddler rather than bigger places like funtopia, that are best suited for bigger kids.

Superb place for kids. Recently it was renovated. My only peace of mind is when my kids are here. The staff are very friendly. Reasonable price. We have hosted 3 kid’s parties here and really happy with the service.
