We discovered this spot through wikicamps which listed it as a place to set up camp for nothing so decided to take advantage of this and to have dinner at the tavern. However, when we arrived the tavern was closed. The owner saw us and came out to speak to us. He made us very welcome and we set up our vans. He then insisted on opening up the tavern for us and his wife came in especially to cook dinner for us. We were very impressed with the service we received! Highly recommended!

Biggest, tastiest parmy i have ever had in my life. We are staying the night and the accomodation is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beautiful little pub to stop in for a visit.

Great place .I have gone there often for tea .it is an iconic country pub with solid reasonable priced meals .if passing through the Caravan park is free .and the tavern has rooms at the back .I have not spent the night as I live close by but I can imagine it is a lot quieter than narrogin .

Been there a few times when travelling. A spotless little tavern with excellent food. Kitchen open Thurs. to Sunday. Tavern closed on Mondays.
