Arrived on a Saturday morning with a booking for 5. Seated inside. Nice cosy environment. Order at the counter from the chalkboard menu.Food was quick to be brought out.Ordered Eggs and toast with hash brown and avo and it was average. Nothing special and very basic presentation. The homemade Crumpets were really good with homemade jam and would be what I would order if I came again. The signature dish of Welsh Rarebit is good but very strong and the mustard used is hot mustard. It's nice but quite overpowering. Perhaps a good share option so you don't have to eat the whole thing yourself. Coffee was okay, again nothing special. Friendly staff. Fresh juices were nice too, especially the apple one.

Great cafe in Hall, just dropped in for Coffee and decided to have the vanilla cream donut. Delicious. Very friendly staff. They also have a great breakfast and lunch menu, as well as a great selection of cakes. I'm definitely trying the creme egg rocky road next time

Menu is small but perfectly formed with a British influence. Coffee is good (love the cups) and food is top notch. Highly recommend the Crempogs (super light and fluffy welsh pancakes) - so delicious! The baked goods are yummy too, don't leave without a Bombolini - those donuts are delicious! Lots of seating inside and out and a really relaxed vibe. Well worth making the trip to Hall for!

Top tier coffee, good range of tasty baked goods, and a cute space. The beef and pork burgers were okay. There are no printed menus or QR codes for ordering - you have to check the menu listed on the blackboard.

Really lovely place, good atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but I think largely due to Mother's day crowds. Space is a little cramped and our table was wobbly, but still a great experience.The coffee was really good, and the doughnuts are amazing. Took some caramel slice home, and enjoyed that the next day. The chocolate top was a little too rich for me, so didn't eat all of it, but the caramel and biscuit base absolutely make the best caramel slice I've had in Canberra. Can't wait to try more of their baked goods.Had a burger and chips for lunch. Excited to find a place that hand cuts their chips. Perfectly cooked. The burger on a house made bun was yummy. All very reasonably priced.Will be going back. The pies look like they need to be tried.

I came here after a long hike at One Tree Hill trails (the cafe is located just 5 mins drive from the trail entrance). Got myself a cold latte for a drink, such tasty coffee. Welsh Rarebit for lunch, which is a hot mustard cheese toast. If you're not into mustard you might not like it as it's quite a strong taste, but I loved it so~ Oh and the Bombolini doughnut is the highlight. That one is recommended

Great little cafe/restaurant in the historic Hall Village, not far from Canberra. The place was pretty full when we arrived but the queue moved very quickly and the staff were very efficient.Coffee was excellent and the breakfast was really tasty.Seating and decor is simple and we chose to sit on the bench outside with a nice view of the park.

Really lovely breakfast with the family here, friendly staff, and delightful food. The kids had fabulous homemade crumpets and jam, they were fluffy and delicious. The bacon and egg burger was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms on toast were SO good. Will definitely come here again next time we walk up One Tree Hill!
