My best day at Aikido WA is the day I walked in the door. Anyone that is involved in Aikido knows the hardest part is getting started. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I had been into Karate for many years, although I knew the school’s reputation through research and the urging of a friend.The instructors left an impression on me that resonates today. I had accomplished something by the end of class. I was challenged and hadn’t been challenged like that in a long time. I choose Aikido WA because it is close to home and offers traditional Aikido, with Japanese, Australian and interstate instructors. I have stayed because it has helped me change my outlook on life and who I am.I recommend Aikido WA to anyone who wishes to make a positive change. The instructors are excellent with a fantastic program. The Aikido WA family is just that, a family. I’ve made friends that will last a lifetime. We constantly learn from each other on the mat, leaving our ego’s behind and that’s what makes Aikido WA such a great school.
