Tolmans Hill Park
Lovely park, excellent bmx track and easier options for younger riders but all slightly away from the play equipment, has undercover BBQ areas and toilets but hardly any parking, hence lost 1 star, we'd do our little ones birthday party here except for the lack of parking.

Great new park, plenty of space and activities. Aimed towards older kids but still fun for our 2 yr old. Great bike track around the park perimeter. Lots of table and seats. No toilets. Bubbler available for water. Next to the bush so feels very natury

This park will be great for when we have slightly older children but none of the equipment is really suitable for the under 3s. Also no toilets.I assume the underlying rock has made it hard to install stuff properly as everything is about a foot higher than it should be eg swings, etc. The platform with slides on is not safe for under 3s my child slipped on the walk way and fell between the railing bars (about 1.5m up) and landed really awkwardly. Thankfully just a bit stunned and sore for a few days but nothing serious. Gave me (and her) quite a scare though.It has a great bike track which will be quite a draw in a few years.

This is a hidden gem for those who love a quiet walk. The murmur from the Southern Outlet reminds us that we are close to civilisation but the cacophony of nature-noises anchor us to earth.

Good play area for 3 or 4 years and up until probably early high school age. Decent offroad style bike track with some good features. Some tables but no BBQs or toilets! At least the bush is nearby. Hopefully HCC will realise the problem with a remote suburban playground with no facilities.Only one set off rubbish bins which are right up the top, technically outside the fenced area. I imagine this makes them easier to empty.

If your children like riding- this place is for them! The best child friendly bike park in Hobart!It will not disappoint- lots of track, options to practice skills like log rides, down hill rocky descents, jumps and more.Playground situated above the track. Lots of seating provided.Currently undergoing reno- adding an undercover area and bbq. Once complete this park will be more amazing.
