In my second only class, I dislocated my shoulder during the free practice with a blue belt student, which is supposed to represent maturity. I had to sit for half an hour with an ice pack Carlos gave me, to get over the first shock, before I had to help myself to the emergency room.Carlos contacted me once, the next day, to check in and gently remind that I signed a waiver. Accidents happen in martial arts however, I was not impressed the way school handled this incident.I give them 2 stars, because you obviously learn how to hurt someone.

The best medicine physically and mentally... Never slept better once I started to get past the basic newbie stage lol. Love all the gang at Base and the Professor. Couldn't recommend a better life change or sport change for all ages!

100% dont recomend!! Ive switched three bjj gyms in my life. Jiu jidsu is about community and support. BASE has NOTHING of that people training there are okay BUTCoach is 100% materialistic and superficial, you see that everywhere.I rented a Gi, and he gave me one one that was at least two sizes smaller.On my first training i got locked inside the gym. Chatastrophy. Lacks the bjj spirit.

Our daughter has had a great time learning Jiu-Jitsu from Carlos and other instructors. She has developed a new level of confidence and physical ability since she started. The environment is friendly and encouraging for men, women and kids. Plenty of class times available during the week and Saturdays. My younger son has enjoyed it too.

Awesome gym. 100% couldn't ask for a better experience as a white belt. Everyones keen to get in and help you out. Carlos is super calm. Always a great night training. Nearly finished my first week.
