Adua Varker Interior Design

We engaged Auda to assist us in selecting the interior design elements for our house. She helped us select tiles, colour combinations for various things such as frames, garage door etc and the color scheme for the house. A couple of things stood out in our engagement with her:1. She always had ample time to listen and understand our requirements and never rushed us in the process.2. She never pushed her ideas on us but wasn't afraid to call out when something that will not work for us. She would then try to find and show us examples of how things will work and whether the combinations look good or bad.3. She worked with us to define the character and the vibe of our house (e.g. contemporary, modern, retro, etc.). Once selected, she kept us bringing us back to it while choosing various components to ensure everything flows together.4. Even when the sessions were over, she was available to answer our queries.5. She understands that the clients end up with Decision fatigue while going through so many selections and has a well established method to make it that much more easier.We will highly recommend Auda. From the moment we contacted Adua – we knew we had to engage her to help with all our selections!We were in touch for a few months before the initial meeting, due to delays in getting our contracts and plans however Adua was kind, patient and understanding. She took the time via emails, phone calls and SMS’s to really understand what we wanted and needed from her. She was always incredibly generous with her time and providing advice on changes and suggestions to our plans.We felt comfortable in discussing what we were after and Adua helped us with selections and design ideas.Adua was incredibly organised and kept us well informed. What is normally a very stressful process during prestart, became enjoyable and I cannot stress to anyone building how important it is to engage a really good interior designer. Adua is so approachable and easy to work with and having a beautiful relationship is so important because you are creating your forever home, it’s not something you can change very quickly once built and you want to be comfortable with the person that’s helping you make all those important choices. Adua attended both the tile selection centre and also the builders selection centre to help us with our decisions and this ensured we have a design continuity throughout the house.What I really appreciated was Adua’s offer to help even after this process – she advised if I was unsure or needed anything with the build I could always reach out to her.I strongly recommend Adua to guide you through this process and we will be engaging her again once our house is closer to completion to help with the furniture and decorator selections.
