I learnt how to sew a pencil skirt with Annie. It was the best day. Gained skills, inspiration and a skirt while enjoying Annie's humour and good vibe with the other students. Annie is the best teacher.

I love my classes here with Annie and some lovely classmates every week. I have learnt so much and really value the time I get there getting great advice from Annie, building my confidence and skills. I'd like to just move in to the studio permanently really!

Absolutely loved the classes here! I did a pack of ‘learn to sew your own clothes’ with Neroli as the instructor. She was wonderful, so knowledgeable but allowed us to have freedom in the way we each worked. Would highly recommend if you’re starting out or looking to up-skill.

I've found my happy place! Annie is lovely, patient and helpful. The studio is a friendly, comfortable place where I've learnt basic sewing techniques and improved my skills. It's great to have all the space and specialised equipment available to make lovely items and I've really enjoyed meeting new people. I've become a regular, attending her freestyle sewing class every week. I love it!

I usually go for after school classes, and they have helped me so much in my sewing. Over the time that I have been here, I have learnt many new techniques from my teacher, along with tips from my classmates. I highly recommend coming here, as the instructors are very helpful, and it is a great way to make friends whilst having fun.

The beginner class was fantastic, it was interesting and well planned out. Annie was a great teacher with lots of helpful technical knowledge. She ensured that everyone got the help and guidance that they needed. I'll definitely be back.

Annie is a kind and patient teacher. Sewing clearly brings her joy and she shares that joy in her teaching. Annie is a highly skilled and experienced sewer and pattern designer, yet is able to instruct sewers with small simple projects, as well as more complex work, with the same energy and passion. She gives clear instructions and creates a fabulously calm yet friendly atmosphere, where no question is silly and laughs are aplenty. Thankyou, Annie, for such a comprehensive, fun sewing experience.

Highly recommend Sew This Pattern for your next sewing lesson. Annie is a wonderful teacher. If you're a beginner, she will guide you through ever step. If you have some skills, she's on hand for those more difficult techniques. The small classes give you the chance to go at your own pace. The shop on Horne street is so sweet too. Looking forward to my next class.

Annie is a great teacher and I would recommend her classes to beginners and advanced skills. The classes are kept small so each person has individual hands on guidance. The work space is very nice and inviting. I am extremely happy with the jumpsuit I made at the class. I wore it the next day at work and received a lot of compliments. The quality is very high and people were amazed I had made it. Thank you Annie!
