High Wycombe General Practice

Reception staff deserve 5/5. And I’m giving 2/5 because I was able to get in the same day, but overall I am extremely disappointed. I have respiratory symptoms, but I do not have Covid. I work in the medical profession myself and would not put anyone at that risk knowingly. Dr asks “have you got a temperature?” I say no, she types on her screen “36.7” without even checking me. Asks me if my throat is red, I say yes and she prescribes antibiotics, without even looking. I tell her I’m coughing a lot and feel as though I can’t get it up, does not listen to my chest. She tells me, If I’m not better, to come back for swabs, I’m like how about let’s just do the swabs now, so we know what I’ve actually got and if it’s viral or bacterial, she then gave me the pathology form. This is extremely concerning to me, I knew how to advocate for myself and ask the questions. But not everyone does or feels comfortable doing so. This is why so many children and adults end up in ED’s, crowding a system that’s already under so much pressure, because some GP’s cannot do their jobs!

Always friendly, relatively timely, efficient service. Renewable scripts via telephone consultation makes life easier. Thank you. Online appointment booking is great.

Doctors are great and the front staff are lovely

This GP has great dedication to its patients. The staff at reception are lovely and kind. I wasn’t feeling very well one day falling asleep in the surgery the staff must of been watching out for me as they woke me and took me straight in to see my doctor.I have been to many surgeries with poor service. This one is by far the best.

Being a bulk billed surgery there is sometimes a short delay but it is rare. The level of care I get from this clinic has been consistently high and I have been a patient since it opened. We are lucky to have a great healthcare system in Australia and this is a perfect example of the high quality we can expect!

Great surgery! I always can get an appointment and appointments are always on time. Dr Norliza Binti MD Junus is exceptional. She is so approachable and always goes the extra mile to assist her patients. I have complex health issues and she has always followed up with me and made referrals to specialists as needed.All the staff are very supportive, efficient and “switched on”. I cannot recommended them enough!I have been to other GPs and had such poor care so my experience here has been so special. My forever GP clinic now.

Always very helpful, appointments are always available when needed. Although the online bookings don't allow for appointment reasons when attempting to book online, defaults to telephone appointments only which only gives you the option to call and make a booking if needing a face to face consult. Minor problem but if your making a booking outside of business hours its a little annoying.

I would like to know why in the reason for your appt booked online it only gives you an option of teleconsult? I would much prefer to do a face to face, but being a public hol, i can't ring for a face to face, and i fear if i leave it til tomorrow (tues), i won't be able to get an appt til wed.

Never been spoken to so rudely by a receptionist before, I will never book to go here again.Think some people need a lesson on how to speak to others especially if they will be working with customers.Very disappointed
