We've been flat out over the last two months with Mum's deceased estate. We have somehow co-ordinated to speak to Real Estate agents, Solicitors, Accountants etc. And we needed a Jewellry Valuer to provide a valuation of her precious collection too. Mum was a Business woman in her own right and over the years she acquired Columbian emeralds, rubies, opal broaches from the Kimberleys, South African diamonds and British aristocratic necklaces, as well as multi carat gold rings and bracelets - all bought in Europe and America with stories of their adventures. We were all familiar we'd say Mum's doing Cartier today!" and she would turn out looking like a supermodel on the cover of a magazine. We men in the family even knew which jewellery stands to find her different necklaces on and how to put her various beloved jewellery pieces in for deep cleaning. She was someone who knew how to make jewellery glitter and shine in the most scintillating and glamorous of ways but without being showy.
