I have done my car service at City Garage and found them to be completely un-professional and finding ways to overcharge customers even though the repairs/parts are not required.I was charged a hefty amount for my engine overheat issue including additional checks and tests and my car was kept in the garage for 4 days and was told that issue is fixed. However, on my way back from the garage to home itself, my car had the same issue of engine overheat. When I called City Garage, i was told to bring my car next day as if nothing had happened.I was utterly dissappointed with the service and will never use them again for anything!

Obviously disappointing. I purchase Car Service voucher from Groupon and called them to book a time, they didn’t answer the phone for 2 days so I spent almost 1.5 hours driving there. There was a rude guy who said this business has been closed and first he said I’m a cleaner and then he turned his word and said I’m the landlord and all these cars here are my personal car!It’s so strange that they’re still selling vouchers on Groupon!!!

Very good bargain on Air Con re gas through Groupon. It was worth paying the $35 surcharge to have the air con going again in my big old 1979 Merc.

The boys are city garage a quick & efficient with their service. Unlike most mechanics I've been to - these guys really go the extra mile at fair prices. They're honest and quality mechanics offering great value. Would highly recommend.

Groupon car service. Wheel alignment not done as describe in groupon ad - only a wheel alignment check.Surcharge of $35 for full synthetic oil which is fair enough but i wished this is mentioned in the groupon ad and not over the phone when you make the booking.Overall $55 groupon voucher - minor service + pink slip and surcharge of $35 for full synthetic oil is value for money. A good job was done and happy with the service.

Worst car servicing experience ever. Purchased an amazing deal from Groupon, called to book, convinced me to book 6 weeks later. A surcharge of $45 for Synthetic oil, well I can buy 5 liters of the best oil in the market for less than $40.Then, on the service day, he was supposed to do a service, wheel alignment, rego check, and a general check with a lot of items to check then to give a detailed report. Well, nothing of that was done properly except for the service (change of oil and oil filter). Wheel alignment not done, no reports given, nothing. Then he told me I have to pay $570 for basic fixing to let my car pass rego check!!!! What a scam. Never going there again in my life. And never using a deal from Groupon again as well.

I have been going to Steve at City garage for over 3 years and will not change. They are the most talented, skilled car expert team with impeccable attention to detail. They are always down to earth, friendly and caring. Many times I have had on road issues and every time I ask for help, they are always happy to help the best they can. They are so reliable, dependable and its so reassuring. They are attention to detail, always fix my car with no back and back issues to report. The most important thing is how honest they are. Very well priced considering the years of experience with all types of cars and services they have. I highly recommend them.

Groupon coupons beware. They are perfect crooks. I was naive. Extremely bad experience.My car was perfectly fine, so I thought the $39 deal from Groupon for wheel alignment and e-safety check was great value.Gave me an appointment two weeks away for a Friday morning.They turned up late.I was left on the pavement citing covid restrictions.Kept my car for three hours and didn't touch it.Attended to other customers and pretended to be busy.The young mechanic 'test drove' the car and put it up on the lift to inspect the wheels.I watched them adjust the front wheel alignment.They didn't scan the QR code, they merely took a picture of it.Said the axle and driveshaft need to be replaced that's why the wheels weren't aligned.The car's wheels were in good alignment before I handed it to them.Said the e-safety check would be issued before the next day.I drove away to find the steering out of alignment.It wasn't until I reached home that I realised I was conned.They didn't pass my e-safety the next day. Spoke very coolly on the phone as if there might have been an error. I cancelled the coupon with Groupon.Only when I corrected the wheel alignment at Bob Jane's did I realise that they didn't even have the equipment for that.And I have absolutely no evidence to prove their scam.I don't know what they achieved by wasting their time and mine.Groupon deals are dodgy.

dodgy scam mechanic. don't go there. they will create thin air issues your car need fix.

Worse place i ever took my car i got a Groupon voucher i got told that in order to pass my pink slip i needed to get new tyres inc a spare which was flat i was then told i had engine mount issues. i went away and got all 5 tyres fixed my step dad owns a tyre shop and he got them changed for me.I went back and got told that i couldnt use tyres that were more than 2 years old RMS restrictions i then got told i had engine leaks and that i needed an engine wash and needed to fix the engine mount it was almost as if the blokes were annoyed that i had got my tyres changed elsewhere i got told that it would cost 2900 just to get everything repaired and get the pink slip my car was an A to B car and wasnt worth the investment since it was older the grubby mechanic then tried to sell me a car he had and asked what my budget was by this point i realised it was a scam and said i would take my car elsewhere he then told me that i owned $40 for despite them even touching my car i said i had the $40 in my car and drove off these guys are nothing but a bunch of dirty grubby mechanics that are looking to make a quick buck off of you i hope all people read this and stay away they all seem to be on the same page too so dont believe a word they say
