DO NOT GO HEREIf there were ZERO stars that is what the review would be- If you want honesty, integrity and transparency DO NOT GO HERE- If you like prompt service with good communication DO NOT GO HERE- If you cannot afford to be without a vehicle for more than reasonable time DO NOT GO HERE- If your vehicle requires an oil change, YouTube it it's a good skill to have DO NOT GO HEREThis year we have had several close friends and family require assistance with basic issues that anyone with knowledge of the two main brands of 4x4 in Australia would know or at least have the decency to pass the work onto someone who did. We had encouraged them to go elsewhere however they were continually strung alone time after time and told issues would be fixed. We think that is acceptable ONCE. Not MULTIPLE times and with the original issue plus issues that did not exist prior because the incorrect diagnostic and repair was not carried out in the first place causing a flow on affect to other components of the vehicles. Two people were able to afford to go elsewhere and had a much better result. These issues a home mechanic with a YouTube account could have diagnosed or sort advice for a social media page. These people give honest hard working mechanics in the industry a bad name. I am writing this review with facts behind me and if you're looking for a 4x4 Mechanic please ask around.Management - we hope you can restore the communities opinion of the business and take feedback seriously.

Have had all my cars done through Lilydale 4X4 Centre. Corey has always gone out of his way to ensure the job gets done properly & right & can't fault their work! 100% would reccommend

Wouldn't trust these clowns to work on my push bike after leaving my GU with them for weeks, car hasn't been right since. Read reviews from others far better 4x4 shops in the area save yourself the headache as management doesn't care.

I was unfortunately left disappointed with a particular aspect of my service. But, upon reaching out to Nathan and speaking with him directly over the phone, I left some detailed feedback for him and the team to review. The following morning, I received a follow up phone call with a gentleman named Marty. Marty had read through my feedback in its entirety, and he reached out to me to resolve the feelings I had. What followed was a genuine, quality conversation that lasted over 30 minutes. I am beyond impressed - Marty has offered me a full refund for the service I was not satisfied with, and he has personally invited me to bring my vehicle back into the shop, and they can redo the service in question to ensure it get's done properly. Marty and the guys at Lilydale 4x4 have proven to me this very day that they are in fact true to their word. They do take absolute pride in their service. Their customers are their number one priority, and that I can say is true! I received a full refund within five minutes of the phone conversation finishing... man! Lilydale 4x4 made sure that I was FULLY satisfied with my service - a rare thing indeed when it comes to this sort of work. Got my car serviced here in an emergency and they were able to fit me in first thing the next day! The workers put so much quality care into their clients cars, i was VERY shocked! you dont find alot of 4x4 mechanics who show that much passion for a clients car these days!This is the ONLY place im taking my car to get serviced for now on, even my dads adamant on getting his car serviced here due to how well the work was done on my car! Corey was fantastic to deal with and happily kept me in the loop,! Top communication skills, High quality work skills and Top customer service! I happily got a sticker and stuck it on my car to show my support and Corey was very kind to give me a free beanie in return! Today we packed our 4 x 4 up to the brim to go camping, 5 of us, up to Jamieson. Passing through Lilydale from Mt Martha, our transmission played up. Made it to Lilydale 4 x 4 Centre for desperate help.They could not have been more accommodating if they tried. They tried several things to help us out of our jam but the diagnosis was bad, needed a new transmission. They spent over 2 hours on the car m, showed us how to drive it safely home, and wouldn't accept any money from us.We were in a state and somehow actually drove home happy that we had met such lovely, helpful mechanics, who weren't all about the buck.Thank you for helping us today. We will never forget how good you were to our family. Very much appreciated, top service and care.

I highly recommend taking your car or 4WD down to Lilydale 4WD Centre as Martin and the team are true professionals and the customer service you receive is exceptional. I could not recommend them more highly. I recently moved to the area and have been down a few times to get small things fixed or a service, Marty is always honest and helpful taking the extra time to personally check over the problems and talk through a plan to get it fixed. His prices are more than reasonable and I thank the team as you just don’t find service like this anymore!!

Acceptable work: customer followup and interaction at picup needs some work.....

Lilydale 4x4 Centre had my Patrol for 5 weeks because they were incapable of finding a solution until I did it for them. During this time there was $2,850 worth of things stolen from the car including a fridge, axe, GPS, etc. (car was left by them parked outside for an unknown duration). 5 weeks on from collection of my car and I'm still getting the run around from the owner, Marty who refuses to accept responsibility for the missing goods. Zero responsibility and zero communication unless instigated by the customer. Beware if you value your belongings.
