Our son just adored his time at bush school during the school holidays. He was outside gaining confidence, in the fresh air, socialising with new people and he came home just SO happy and full of his tales of adventure. Thank you Kara for being such a wonderful support and guide for these kids - what you are doing is just so important and getting kids out into nature is just so beneficial on all levels. We'll be back for more, most definitely!

We're long time lovers of Nature. Be In It. My son loves the holiday program and always comes home asking when he can go back. I love that they encourage kids to be kids - to follow their curiosity, take some calculated risks, get dirty, climb trees and make excellent mud pies. I'd chose this over other holiday care programs any day.

Dining out - in the outdoors.Truly a treat. My favourite place to dine is in the outdoors. Kara arranged for a delightful meal and took care of everything. Coupled with a beautiful walk beforehand, guided skillfully and gently, this was a great evening out.

How lovely to be in nature, with a relaxing pre-dinner bush walk, guided observations from Kara, lovely food and a guest appearance from a local critter. A very pleasant evening.

This is a wonderful way to connect with nature for kids and adults alike, at any level of bush-familiarity. We took part in the kids´nature discovery session and came away glowing with memories, discoveries and adventures. The kids were mighty proud of having built their own humpy :)

I feel they say all the right things on their website but in reality, it was disorganised, no sort of cohesive agenda/guidance/education, and the spot was not great. Hard to believe they are charging for this. And, I know I’m not the only one who feels this way as I later ran into some other moms who had tried it a year ago and never went back. I was especially a bit shocked when the “teacher’s” little toddler wandered down to the creek unnoticed by her. Luckily another parent and I saw and alerted her casually whilst exchanging looks to say “are you kidding me?? They are charging for this?”. I sadly do not recommend this.

Thank-you for a wild and wonderful evening Kara. What an incredible and memorable experience as a gift for my sister's birthday. Although the weather was not ideal, in some ways I think this actually added to our experience. It was amazing to be cosy and warm in the hut with wind and rain lashing the trees just metres away. And the gentle suggestions and activities designed to awaken our senses were great. I felt a little teary at one moment - so fortunate to be in that place at that time (and that was before we started dinner - what a delicious feast!) A truly memorable experience. I recommend it to anyone wanting a cleverly guided taste of nature in Tasmania.

I had a delightful evening with 'Nature Be in It', led by Kara and Ben, and with a lovely group of fellow-participants. So much more than a bushwalk - including a delicious gourmet dinner and spotlighting under the stars for pademelons. The en route activities were fun and informative. I was surprised how much new stuff I learnt about the Reserve, even though I had been there many times before, and also what I learnt about how to look at Nature in a new way. A truly magical experience.

In one word - AMAZING. I'd never done anything like this before. The guided walks, the food and the animals we got to see all contributed to a wonderful evening. Kara was super knowledgeable and obviously cares a lot about our local environment. Thank you Kara and Ben for an educational and engaging evening.
