Mt Shadwell Hotel / The Stables Motel
Stayed for the night, the room was nice and clean and close to all amenities. Had 3 beds (1 queen, 2 singles) so enough room for the whole family. Rooms are at the back if the pub, across the road from a playground and two doors up from a supermarket. Great country accommodation.

Hospitality Superstars!! The staff (shoutout to Tahlia - you are brilliant & owners Heather & Wayne!) & all staff & owners ensured our time here was amazing. Not only was the food brilliant (you must try the red wine jus with your scotch fillet it's to die for) but the staff especially Tahlia helped us with suggestions for a gift for the lovely people who helped us when we broke down up the road. Amazing service at this place. In my past I had run many large pubs/clubs/restaurants & I would always instill this genuine hospitality in my staff. Well done

Awesome! Stayed overnight with very comfortable bed and very clean bathroom and amenities. Equally lovely meal at the pub. Can recommend the Chicken Shadwell! Thank you to Justin and team for making us feel very welcome. Keep up the great work!

New owners, very friendly & efficient.Motel room was large with crisp white bed linen on queen bed. TV, Fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle with China & cutlery.Large clean bathroom & soft towels.Great Bistro in hotel, kitchen was very efficient & food was wholesome & delicious.Safe parking off street. Great value for money, we can recommend this Hotel / Motel. Thank you Justin.

I have drank in this great country pub for more than 50 years under the same family ownership. A pity it's just been sold. Enjoy retirement Webber .

Lovely country pub, popped in on the way home from a Drs appointment for a round of drinks just before the 8pm Covid lockdown began on the 5/8/21. Publican was just fantastic to chat to.

Did not stay as are residents of Mortlake. Ordered the best fish and chips ever takeaway due to this covid!! Thank you so much Justin and crew..absolutely wonderful..many thanks from the family during this time. Will continue to order from you ..well done

Staff are friendly. Beer is cold. 5/5 for both of them.Chicken Parma was enjoyable but only a 3/5 due to purchased tomato paste and ham used instead of bacon. Took 28mins from ordering to service despite being the first people to order and no one else in the bistro but at least it was well cooked!

The host was very professional and friendly.He was very attentive to the needs of all the people in the group. We had a bar meal which was great and plenty of it. Overall a good place to go.Also the beer was cold.
