Absolute shocking service, greeted but unhelpful and unfriendly staff, the only good thing going for it is the location. My boyfriend and I just wanted a nice lunch out willing to spend our money for nice fresh trout, and the first thing we hear is No booking no service" and after an hour travel just to get here we were very disappointed.Will not be going back and recommend you don't either."

Eucumbene Trout Farm
Owner was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient even though he was working alone that day. I was able to catch two reasonable sized trout fairly easily which were cleaned and prepared for me to bbq on site. Enjoyed the food and my day immensely.The drive to the property is really nice. Saw a bunch of wild life on the way there. Thanks.

Great relaxing place to visit. Definitely overlooked with perisher and thredbo. However, definitely a place to add to your itinerary.Hired 2 rods between the four people .. and managed to catch 4 trout's. Owners were friendly, approachable and welcoming.

Eucumbene Trout Farm
A very nice place to spend a quite and relaxing time with kids. Just 105 minutes driving distance from Canberra, on the way back and from Snowy mountains. Both Peter and Karen were very helpful and friendly, really enjoyed their hospitality. Kids enjoyed fishing , bbq them on the premises and having them with hot chips.

Great place for trout fishing. Kids had a blast. However bring your own coffee as the coffee machine was broken and no alternatives offered.

Had a lovely day and the kids were happy as Larry to catch and enjoy the fish. Great hosts and beautiful surroundings. Definitely a good time to be had.

This was an excellent experience, our group (4 adults, 4 kids) loved it.The owners are really lovely people and were very helpful.We cooked some of our trout fresh on site and got chips from the cafe, lovely way to spend our afternoon.Highly recommended this.

Great place to spend some quality time with kids. Fishing, cooking, eating together afterwards. Hidden little gem / walk trail at the back of the farm. Beautiful lake with ducks, alpacas. Also found out they have an Airbnb right beside the lake. Looks like a great place to stay overnight. Area for improvement for me would be more food options for kids. Would be great to have items on menu like sandwiches or simple chicken wraps in case some kids don't like fish. Currently other than BBQ fish they have trout tasting plate, salad and chips.
