Just had a discussion with Russ Porteous from Firewize with regard to a question about the current standard for Emergency lighting in office premises in NSW. Russ very quickly set me straight regarding the current Standard with the added confidence of letting me know that he is involved directly in setting the standard in Australia. I ordered a 1.5kg extinguisher and a package of a 2.5kg with a Fire blanket, at good prices. Their extinguishers have higher ratings than most of the competition generally, and the hoses help with effectiveness too apparently, compared to others without hoses. But the 1.5 didn’t arrive, a 1.0 did instead. I knew it was a simple mistake so I called and asked what to do. Firewize said they would ship the 1.5 right away (and they did, same day from what I can tell). I offered to return the 1.0, or pay part of the extra cost, even so they said “no, our mistake, we will make it right”. And they did, that same day, no cost for me at all. It used to be you would hope for outstanding service like that, but it seems very rare nowadays. So…quality equipment, quick handling, and brilliant support. Very highly recommended. Thank you!

I took my old fire extinguisher to the shop for replacement. I thought the old one could no longer be used. The staff there enthusiastically gave me a free test and stamped it, telling me that I don’t need to buy a new one, and Ross also gave me an extra locking buckle that I can hang the fire extinguisher on the wall. I highly recommend the service of this company, it is really good, unparalleled. Thank you again for your help, I am very grateful.
