Love the food and atmosphere

The atmosphere, service and meals at Penny's are VERY VERY good. The service that Carmel and the team provide really goes above and beyond what seems to be the norm elsewhere these days. The meals are beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The setting in the old Town hall is just lovely with a very intimate yet relaxed feel.I would highly recommend Penny's for anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Beautiful place and food was amazing

My wife, son and I had a beautiful lunch today at Penny's.Carmel and Mark do a great job.Could not fault the food or the service.Thoroughly recommend Penny's.

Penny's is a great discovery. Food and venue excellent, as were the team. Great experience that puts Kilmore on the map as a place to stop when travelling between Sydney and Melbourne. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cuisine served by hospitable friendly people in a warm & comfortable atmosphere.Music playing in background so as to facilitate conversing & hearing if you so desire. Fine food in Kilmore.

This gorgeous building has been restored beautifully by Carmel and Matt - and the food quality matches the resulting subtle elegance. We had our Wedding Anniversary at Penny's last night. We were warmly greeted by Stacy, our waitress, two red roses on the table, a little card for each of us congratulating us on our anniversary. I can highly recommend the vegetarian Egyptian greens soup while the seafood medley was excellent - pan seared but not over cooked. Although it was spicy the creamy flavour of each of the elements (especially the scallops - my favourite) still came through. The wine list has lots of local wines so you can safely bring visitors to Penny's knowing they can experience a true regional experience. Our evening was rounded off by complimentary home made chocolates and a quick tour of the fabulous artworks on the walls. Come on Kilmore let's get behind this enterprise so we can enjoy fine dining again.
