Calliope Caravan Park
We were told to find a park and report to office after 5pm. I liked that so we found a nice site. Amenities were clean, we didn’t use the showers we had our own. Lots of permanent residents who were friendly. Good dog friendly park. Price was great too.

Friendly staff, very clean, family & pet friendly. Cabins are roomy, amenities are cleaned daily, great for a night stay or to make a permanent home. Cheap accomadation & the pool is big & always clean.

A beautiful bush setting park within distance to Gladstone city.A golf club opposite, Calliope pizza a phone call away.Very tidy park and regular maintenance is always ongoing.Extremely well managed and great advice given by management with regards to van probs and also surrounding places worth visiting.Drive through sites are huge.Amenities always clean.Big thanks to management.

Really good park. Good price. Welcoming owner (we called and arrived late).clean pool and amenities. But the trees and grass need to be cut. We will definitely stay again if we are in this area. Thank you!

Not really certain if this is a very safe place. My mate booked us in here and it's mostly permanent residents. Could hear fighting late at night

The park has a lot of permanent residents and has seen better days with some of the spots being a bit run down. In saying that, the amenities were very clean and in good condition. I didn't use the pool, but it looked to be in good nick as well.

An old-fashioned park - complete with very clean large amenities block and laundry facilities with a choice of options and plenty of room. There is also a sparkling swimming pool which looked inviting. Lots of large trees and easy access electricity and water to each of the concreted sites. Excellent value for money. Yes, it’s old but the staff and locals are friendly. Kids would enjoy riding bikes and swimming. A great little stopover - thanks Matthew!

Big shady sites. power water. lovely manager.(if you can find him) pick a site manager will find you. very old amenities block. Toilets are a disgrace never cleaned. resident green frog in loos check first. Locals are friendly. for $20 a night cant complain. Lots noisy birds. lovely to watch.

Firstly, the man on the phone was very courteous and the amenaties were large and clean. We were told to just drive in and pick a site. Having a larger van made choosing a site more difficult. Lots of overgrown trees and uneven sites. Our power tripped a few times as well. This park needs a lot of love and attention. Although it was fairly quiet with lots of permanents residing at this park and $28pn we would probably choose somewhere else next time. I wish you well.

Well what does one expect for $80 clean room and somewhere to lay your head. Beats front seat of Ute.
