Special Fried rice. Gluggy boiled rice swished around in a wok with a quarter cup of frozen peas and corn, and 2 King Prawns, $18. I would be ashamed to serve this at home.

Was really looking forward to dinner and not being from Kalgoorlie we thought to give this place a try. The service was friendly. But unfortunately the food was very expensive for the quality. Would have been happy to pay for good quality food. But $79 for for two entree, one main, one rice and two miso soup. Not priced for quality received.

Would never return and would def not recommend to anyone - very expensive for bad quality food and bad service. Food not even edible and dont know how they can call it thai food or even japanese tbh. Highly disappointed and wished we had gone across the road, we were asked if we ejoyed our meals and we said no it was terrible, however nothing was offered or said. Very bad food, service and management. Spring rolls were the frozen type from Home brand packet no taste what so ever and couldnt even eat my curry if thats what it was supposed to be small rice servings and basically minimal ingredients, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, the next night we found Mamma Mia's Trattoria and so glad we did ....feel ripped off and annoyed about paying $80+ dollars and then having to go home and eat afterwards after being to Krua...not good

The Thai food here is so delicious, we haven’t tried the Japanese yet as we keep going back for more Thai! Definitely try the jungle curry if you’re into spicy food, or the Massaman if you would like something more mild. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It isn’t cheap food but it’s very fresh and delicious so I feel it’s worth it. This is our local Thai place now, we won’t go anywhere else!

The Thai dish we had was great but unfortunately the Oyakodon was nothing like how Oyakodon should be. The rice was oily and the egg was just cracked in with no flavour, rather than being omelette style. If you want some nice Thai then come here for sure, but maybe just stick to that part of the menu. The staff were lovely though! I’d come back for the Thai dishes :)

We have been coming here for the past two years and in just the last few visits it has gradually declined especially tonight where the ball was completely dropped. We ordered 5x mixed entree, as per usual we ordered the sushi, sashimi combination large sized priced at $40 and as it is pictured on the menu it’s all placed into a very nice platter but we received 2 platters between the sashimi and tuna/snapper sushi when it’s meant to include snapper. The sushi rice was wet and mashed. California roll 10pc ordered on top, didn’t even show up til we reminded them and it was poorly made also mashed wet rice. Our 2 daughters received their crispy chicken bento’s - very nice chicken, average rice/pad Thai noodles/same poorly made sushi, and burnt tempura vegetables. My husband and son ordered the Chicken Katsu Sizzling where the chicken was under-sauced and dry and the veg used for the stir fry had clumps of what would have been wilted old (not fresh) bok choy styled veg throughout. Lastly, the worst part was the pad Thai noodles (chicken) came out announced as Satay Chicken Noodles and I said back to the server no, Pad Thai Chicken. We did this 3 times. She then said she would check and went back to the kitchen with said noodles. She came back and then said yes they are Pad Thai noodles. My husband pointed out the veg - the whole dish looked like chicken and veg noodles. I tasted one small mouthful and just with the noodle on my tongue it was indeed simply chicken and veg with rice noodles. We called to the server and said this is not pad Thai. This is where the debate started. Yes - no - yes - no. Another person was brought out of the kitchen, I asked her, how was it made? Everything she said described chicken and veg - we’re talking about broccoli, cauliflower, and various other vegetables with soy, chicken and noodles. Altogether NOT Pad Thai. I explained we had been coming to Krua for nearly 2 years and this was not how they had previously made it. I explained to her how it’s meant to have tamarind, palm sugar, coriander, chilli, bean sprouts, tofu, egg and she said oh that’s not how we make it. I said but that’s the general basis of a Pad Thai sauce and we have eaten it many places and restaurants including Krua previously. She said that’s just not how we make it, I said I’m not arguing or trying to argue with you it’s just simply not Pad Thai and I’m not paying for what I didn’t ask for. She conceded that as a fair ask and left with the plate. To be honest the service plummeted from there and we even heard really loud uncontrollable coughing coming from the kitchen.Overall, we have been bringing them good money for their service, tonight they lost a family of 5 that would normally pay between $190-$250. Truly poor on all fronts. The service, the food, the taste, the heart. I don’t recommend if you truly enjoy your Japanese or Thai foods.
