Bathurst War Memorial Carillon
The Carillon, with 35 bells, was constructed in 1933 as a memorial to the men of Bathurst and District who served in the First World War. Doors commemorating both the First and Second World Wars provide entry to an interior featuring an eternal flame of remembrance. A number of plaques have been added to commemorate sacrifices made by Australian servicemen and servicewomen in subsequent conflicts. (collected)The memorial is located on Kings Parade, the parkland bounded by William, George, Church and Russell Streets.

Great (yet sombre) centrepiece to Bathurst. Wonderfully maintained park and location in the centre of the CBD. Site of the soil collection for the Anzac Memorial Centenary Soil Collection Project.

Bathurst War Memorial Carillon
This is such a special structure. It is the only Carillon in the whole of Regional & Rural Australia. Come to Bathurst in early May 2021 to be part of the inaugural FESTIVAL OF BELLS.
