Had such a great time going the beginner’s wheel term with the Terrapotter team! Cassie was super supportive and helpful throughout the classes, and I look forward to doing more terms with her soon.

The term classes here are super inviting and not intimidating even for beginners. Cassie is a great instructor and has so many tips and tricks to help you learn and improve. Class sizes are small, but that means you're definitely getting personalised attention. For the social butterflies, this also means you can get to know your classmates better. For those who aren't social butterflies, that's definitely fine too.Atmosphere wise, the space is so well put together, and the wheels are all so quiet that even if you have sensory issues, it's not a hindrance at all. Class starts with a little cup of tea and a little demo. It's actually a little meditative at the end of a long day/week.There's also a lot of short-term and one-off classes I want to try, so I'd definitely come back.10/10 would recommend to anyone.

I’ve just finished my first term at Terrapotter Studios with Cassie. The entire term has been a fantastic experience, I’d been thinking about trying my hand at pottery for a long time and I finally decided to sign up, I’m so glad it was with Terrapotter studios, the lessons are so well thought out, Cassie is an excellent teacher, you can feel her patience and experience in each lesson plan.The class length of 2 hours is also great I can’t imagine trying to learn everything in anything less than 2 hrs but there were many places that I had google before I found Terrapotter studios that were only 1-1.5hrs sessions.I’m I absolutely signing up for the next term :)Also shout out to Sam for letting me pat away my work stress whenever I arrive, what a golden golden,

I went for an intro class and it was so relaxing and an immensely enjoyable experience. I then signed up for the term and continued learning from Cass who is an amazing teacher. I am really looking forward to coming back every term and eventually, hopefully make some nicer pieces.

I moved to Melbourne and was looking for a space to continue practicing my ceramics and found this studio online. I’ve been going for the past couple weeks now to their open studio and I’m very happy with it. I really love the warm and open environment that is created here. All the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Overall I’m very content with my experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for starting out or just continuing working on ceramics!

I took a term of wheel throwing classes at Terrapotter studio and LOVED it! Cassie and Nyssa are super friendly and are always happy to help. Oh and let’s not forget about the amazing tea they prepared for us every week.I would definitely come back for an another term for sure.

I’ve participated in an introduction to wheel throwing class and a term class at Terrapotter and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Cassie and Nyssa are incredible. Both have a unique style in their teaching but maintain the same level of professionalism, clear communication and warm energy. The term classes provide an appropriate amount of challenge whilst still being very approachable, and the studio is an absolutely beautiful space. Cannot wait to come back for another term!

Our favourite teacher Cassie has her special approach to show and guide every student the most proper and fun way to create our unique pieces. She is always patient and be there if I needed help. We are also provided high quality clays and glazes so all the pieces all turn out so perfectly.The studio is located in a quite but convenient pocket of South Melbourne, finding parking is so easy. The beautiful environment inside of the studio and pier students makes learning to do ceramics such a enjoyable experience.I highly recommend Terrapotter Studios and our teacher Cassie to anyone who is experienced & wants to learn new skills, or anyone who is new to pottery & want to explore this focused but fun/rewarding activity.
