Chemist Warehouse Double Bay

I've been about a year or so ago and the female staff suspected me of shoplifting only because I didn't look nice and wasn't dressed properly! So she asked her male supervisor to inspect my bags (I had 2). It was one of the most humiliating experience I ever had in a shop.They haven't found anything in my bag and so I've expressed my disappointment on how I was treated, no apologies!Shop elsewhere, there are so many alternatives in the area

I approached the chemist with a relatively mundane yet important product request. The chemist said no, and refused to discuss options. Even though I have an urgent need for a solution, I didn’t purchase the product which she refused to give me information about - which may have solved the need, yet it may have interacted poorly.All I needed was a discussion seeking a solution. This was to much to consider.

Came in here last night. It took 30 mins to fill out 1 packet of tablets. I was there from 2015-2045. I was waiting 30 mins and then had to ask where my tablets were. They did not call out my name or anything. Terrible service.

With the price of protein powers almost triple in price this is still the cheapest place to buy it.

today we had the absolute pleasure of meeting the wonderful Lavinia on her 21st birthday (happy birthday!). She was experienced, helpful and very attentive towards my friend (anxious queen, knees weak, palms are sweaty) and i today. furthermore, the queen of the store - could not recommend CW DB any more xp.s brother is lovely as well :)

Good place to shop locally. Large range and good prices. My beef with all Chemist Warehouse stores is that the aisles are too narrow, the interior too dim to make for a pleasant shopping experience if you are just browsing.

Great range of products just don’t go there for scripts. Ok if you are happy to wait half hour or more - this chemist warehouse in Double Bay does not seem to be able or willing to adjust staffing to meet demand, doesn’t matter what time of day it is always the same. Staff are wonderful but make mistakes because of the pressure- my poor hubby overcharged on several transactions because of an error of staff entering up his DVA number. So on top of all the waiting times we now have to work out if iwe can claim back -$200 overcharge:)

I experienced unprofessional customer service at the Chemist Warehouse in Double Bay.I'd already been to a couple of locations looking for a popular item (as there was the option to price match it with a good deal on the Coles website). Before going to the Double Bay store which is out of my way, I called ahead to make sure the product was in stock. I was advised by a friendly pharmacist that there were a couple in stock.When I arrive at the store, the first staff member I speak to tells me it's not in stock. When I explain I spoke to the pharmacist on the phone advising me otherwise, I'm directed to the pharmacist and handed the item. At the checkout, the first staff member now tells me Chemist Warehouse doesn't price match (??). I question this and she goes to check with the pharmacist. The staff member comes back telling me I can't have it because it was on hold for another customer (?). A minute later the pharmacist follows with yet another reason, that the item was faulty. I don't see why I was given the item in the first place if either of these reasons were true. I don't know for sure, but I suspect it may have something to do with it being a large discount on a pricier item, once it is price matched, and this store wanting to meet certain quota/profit.The staff members were apologetic, and I understand human errors happen. Yet I'm disappointed I wasted 1 hour commuting coming to the store, after clearly being advised the item was in stock. Then being told various reasons as to why I can't have it, after it was already handed to me. Unfortunately I felt it was quite unprofessional and won't be coming back.

Unique in Double Bay for being a cheap shopping option and open until decently late as well. Staff are much more pleasant than other Chemist Warehouse stores. The staff here should train the staff at the other stores and then this chain would gain a better reputation. Anyhow, for now I will stick with this location only, unless I’m desperate.
