We got recommended to try this place and what a little gem of a place this is to find in the charming town of Smithtown. Over the course of the last 3 months during our north coast trip we have tried fish and chips in many a place and I will put this on our top 3 places. Tried their fisherman's basket and fish burger and both were great. Fish burger especially was unique but great flavour and nice and crunchy texture. Fisherman's basket had a good variety, wonderful battered, crunchy, fresh and juicy and served with warm service at a very good price. Take the food and sit by the river and enjoy your meal.

Fantastic Post Office/Store/Takeaway business. We had heard it was the best food in local area. Arrived on closing time Friday night when usually a customer would be turned away. The very kind owners cooked our order and it was perfect and delicious. Very grateful and appreciative of their kindness Strongly recommend trying this shop.

Great range of ice creams, just the right groceries and fruit and vegies you need to save you a 15 minute trip to Kempsey!! They even make sandwiches and hot food to take away!!!Support your local store even though there is NO WAY they can compete with the big guys in town. The last thing we need to see is another great business closing up in a local town!!
